Is it just me, or has nicky clark been somewhat invisible last couple of games

Was it "better" because we played better, or because Dundee scored after 6 minutes and were then happy to sit on that and watch us pass sideways of hump the ball out for the rest of the match?
Almost 60 minutes against a side letting us have the ball and Clarks chance in the first half the only one that was actually created from build up play? Goal comes from nothing really. Then Dundee decide to bother again and score with their first chance.
Really struggle to take a single positive from the game. Poor shape, poor subs, poor attacking play, poor defensive play. What was actually good about it?

Enjoyed him not getting a simple pass and us losing the ball, just to see him twirling around jumping up and down stamping his feet like a literal child while Celtic pressed onto our defence.
Theres so few players in this squad who'll be able to cope with any sort of high intensity play off game.

I sincerely hope Livingston do eventually go down,what a horrible shower,never seen so many 6 foot pluss men feigning injury just to break the flow of the game,they were so thick they carried on doing it at one all,did they not realise a draw was no good for them or is it so intrenched in their psyche that’s just what they do.

Horrible game to watch, however playing so badly and get a point, will do.   Just a word on todays opponents- I hope they get relegated and never darken our door again, anti football , time wasting and falling about 'injured', an absolute disgrace.

As you know, I think he brings a real solidity to our back line. Quick, mobile, careful in possession and wins every battle. Never will you see that man getting turned easily, muscled off the ball or out jumped in the air…

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how good Dan Phillips is. 

I often get the impression Saints' response to every idea is to either dismiss it as "we tried that before" or "that wouldn't work". But what alternative suggestions are they generating in-house?
Among the people running Saints, who has actual experience of growing a sports/football club and its fanbase in the digital/social media era? Who among our board understands these things and has experience of them? Where do they get fresh ideas from, and how do they implement them? What happened to all the ideas Kirsten Robertson spoke about implementing when she arrived?
Kilmarnock published a document this summer where they explained what their attendance targets were year on year and what they'd done to hit those targets. Do Saints have attendance targets, and if so what do they do to hit them?
I'm so bored of the Browns using every single public interview as an opportunity to whine about attendances. We've come through over a decade of unprecedented success and our board did barely anything in that period to harness public interest and grow the support. They slept in the run-up to the 2014 Cup final, they slept after it, and then they did the same when we won the Double (although I'll accept that allowances need to be made for that happening during Covid). They allowed our best ever manager to walk away for nothing because they couldn't be bothered to do whatever they had to do to keep him happy. And yet when it's going badly it's never their fault. It's always Perth's fault for not blindly dispatching 10,000 people along to the ground every fortnight to watch a team that for most of the last two/three years has been plummeting rapidly downhill and playing the worst football of the McDiarmid era.
Fair City Unity have done more in a year or two to bring in new fans and keep them coming along than the club itself have managed in several decades. Does that not tell them anything?

I don't get the negativity with this appointment. We need an experienced man who won't be intimidated by players, the board, press or authorities. He's done it all and knows exactly what is required to target strengths and weakness in teams.
His expertise is defence and we should see a marked improvement going forward. I think he'll change our strategy to fit the exisiting personnel, until he can bring in  who he wants but he knows how to organise a defense.  I'm not expecting high flying sexy football but in our situation we need pragmatic hard working teams who can battle their way out of this mess.
As I suspected Geoff was involved in identifying Levein and it should be regarded as a coup being able to encourage him back in. That performance on Wednesday against Killie was pivitol in him making the decision too- he clearly sees that there is the bones of a decent team there.
This is a bold step from the board and shows intent that they want to remain in this division at all cost.

Some folk are ready to condemn him for events years ago bit like Martindale and his past,all before there’s even been any official announcement,we’re not out of the smelly stuff just yet so a steady hand on the tiller(Levein)I think will serve us well and boost our chances of staying up,need to consolidate a bit before we go all gung hoe with some young buck.
