Liverpool in a crisis ?

The major question is why has Rafa not been sacked?, If any other manager in any of the leagues had spent a £100 million on players & falsely promised the board, fans & players that they would finish in the top 4. Possibly knowing that the standard of players that he brought in were not good enough or if he did, that in itself would force any board to get rid sooner rather than later or is it possible that Rafa has some sort of information that he could use against the owners to stay in his job.

C'mon the mighty Gooners!!!

I think it's pretty clear the fans are 100% behind Benitez, and the two yanks are not exactly local heroe's on Merseyside as it is. If they were to sack Benitez, they would be well and truly hounded out of Anfield (which may not be a bad thing for Liverpool)

Who would Liverpool get to replace him. There is nobody available. The club would also have to pay around £15 million in pay off his contract. That aside Liverpool dont just sack their managers cos of one bad season.

Wee stat. The game Liverpool beat Manure this season was Benitez 200 league game and he had won 115. Wenger first 200 he won 113. Ferguson most successful (so called) British manager (think Paisley might have a pretty good record 3 european cups 9 titles etc etc in 10 years. He only won 85 of his first 200 matches.

I say this is a blip of a season and ride it out. Also for as shi*e as they have been they are still only 3 points off 4th. NIGHTMARE!!!!

Benitez is the boy. It is gillet and hicks that need to move on. Here endeth.

Soft sending off, but you sjould know by now not to raise your hands to other players.

But you can understand why he was upset, cause that guy should of been sent off for that tackle on Torres.

But over all, liverpool let me down on my coupon, need them to draw.

Another 2 points lost today but Birmingham is a hard place to go and collect 3points these days. Mcleish has got them playing well recently.

Taking off Torres in a game they really needed to win was a bad decision, Ngog just ain't up to the job. League should always be priority for any team, maybe rest Torres for a Champions League tie would be understandable, but not for the UEFA Cup, especially when they might not even make europe at all next season
