met a 'soul destroyed looking' 101 saint today.

It's known as Delaffected. It's from the Craggy Island word, "fecked", meaning broken or useless, i.e Del fecked it again

You missed the dundee utd away game. 3-3 I think it was.

Playing a 4-4-2 can very easily turn into a 5 in modfield if your striker comes back hunting for the ball, like wise the 4-1-4-1 that we have been playing more or less end up as 4-1-2-3 if your wide push on like Craig and Morais do.

It's not the tactics or formations that win or lose games its the players on the park, yet again we are all getting hung up on the formation when in effect the players did not perform, Simples!!

Yes MS but the players we have can`t play the system as the stats prove. 4.4.2 suits the players we have. Happen to think 3.5.2 may work but we have never had 3 fit centre backs at any one time.

everyone says we dont hav the players-have we ever tried Fil Sammy Swanks?

im a good old fashioned 442 man but if we did try 433 thats a forward line i'd like to see

And then what? Play tight with 3 in the middle? Its been well documented that Irvine has been below par recently and that Grainger is no stalwart, so leaving them 1v1 at the back is asking for trouble. Playing 4-3-3 in my opinion leaves us open to being criminally broke down. And I doubt Swankie and Morais would be willing to do lengths of the pitch all day to help them out.

I will admit to favouring the 4-3-3 back in Div 1, that was when Irvine was playing outstanding and Stanic was on the other side and playing Peaso out wide gave us an ariel threat against the wing-backs, can you imagine Swankie in a 50/50 against Papac? Doesny bear thinking about
