Great that eighth place is secured, especially after losing out on seventh on the last day of last season. I also think the last three results have set us up alright for next season and there won't be too much negativity lingering over us. As a result, this is probably a match where the result only really matters to us when it comes to bragging rights.

How St Mirren react will be interesting too. Will they play with a freedom now their safe?

Not sure what the situation regarding suspensions is and if there's anyone only a yellow card away from a ban? If so you'd expect them to miss out but that apart I don't imagine McInnes will stray too much from the last few weeks.

I would've expected us to be fielding some younger players this Saturday but having said that Del is unbeaten against St Mirren so may not stray too much from the norm.

When did the Midden last beat us? In well over 20 years supporting Saints have only seen them beat us a handful of times. Not really sure how this statistic squares with their claim to be Scotland's "fifth force".
