The ghost of Jim Morton
Callum Davidson. Fits all the criteria if Geoff want to go along the same road as he did with Del.. Starts of as player manager and hangs his boots up at the end of the season. He would hopefully find an experienced assistant to help him along the way.. SingaporeSaint
OK 101, here goes for me...... Davie Weir. Just his family settled away from Scotland that would cause me concern. His concentration might be too focussed on how his kids are getting on at School/Uni.
HertsSaintee
Why is McGhee in that list? Comedy vote? You could have put in Colin Calderwood as well. That would have made it utterly hilarious.
Guest Harry Curran's Love child
I may have to abstain! Don't honestly know who I would prefer. Can I vote for 2?
Guest Harry Curran's Love child
Will be interesting to see how this poll influences the bookies odds!
squiddy
Not many on there that i would be hugely opposed to, but i'd prefer to see us keep the younger manager thing going. Not sure i could stand one of the old guard in charge of saints.
SingaporeSaint
I may have to abstain! Don't honestly know who I would prefer. Can I vote for 2? We could do but some other pain in the arse will come along and ask if he can vote for 3.

StDuncM
Jody does not have the qualifications does he? I think he admitted as such at the start of the season. I would have gone for Davidson but does he have the coaching badges? Paul Sheerin gets the nod from me but it may be a tad early for him. SingaporeSaint
Do you need a certain level of badges to manage in the SPL ?
Denzil
Do you need a certain level of badges to manage in the SPL ? An ordinary Blue Peter one should be enough
Guest Harry Curran's Love child
Would like Davie Weir but he won't come so went for McGlynn.
One Goran Stanic
Nick Dasovic Could be a good shout. I hope that it's not one of the SPL journeymen a la Hughes, Jeffries etc. I'm sure Geoff will stick to his current formula though. It's been highly successful so there's no reason to change his approach.

Pop
Gary McAllister. 1) Significant managerial experience at a very high level. 2) Ooddles of contacts. 3) Was a cracking player himself - bound to have an effect. 4) We don't want a Saintees legend returning to the club only to make an arse of it. 5) He talks a good game. 6) He's well known in the game, which may help to raise our profile. The rest are either unproven at this level and at this size of club(Sheerin, Weir etc), or I wouldn't trust them to run a bath (Yes -I'm talking about you, John Hughes). Whether he would consider us, well thats another story. I would guess not.

Dr Christmas Jones
John Collins,Gary McAllister,Nic Dasovic maybe.
shiresaint
Got to be Gary Mac for me. Will have some great contacts and will gain the respect of the dressing room straight away. I think this will be vital in the new manager as i cant see the likes of Jody, Sandaza, Sheridan etc being happy with the likes of Gary Bollan!? He started to do a good job at Villa at the end of last season so i think deserves a chance as his own man. We need either a big name (for us) or someone promoted from within. I would probably be happy with Nick Dasovic though.
