Oldermoresensiblepack
I should know better by now, but their sheer arrogance never fails to surprise me. Why do they think they're so unique that it's their duty to outspend everyone else so they can compete with Celtic? What's so special about them that makes it ok for them to behave this way, but not for every other club. I'd like Saints to challenge for the league too, but if it's not within your club's means then you just need to suck it up and accept that it won't happen. If every other club can do it, why can't they? Really quite tragic and pathetic to see the way they openly define their whole shape and existence by what another club in another league are doing. We should all be delighted, relieved and proud of the fact that Saints will never be like that. It's been like that for years look at the crowds at Darkheid and Greyskull they are gaps all over the place. Celtc and The Rangers cant exist without each other. They are 1 and the same thing, a handicap for scottish football. The game here in scotland will never improve while they are calling the shots and everything is for their benefit. south inch
Putting to one side for the moment my dislike of the ugly sisters, can someone explain to me how Dave King's masterplan will work? I follow the bit that gives him power and influence at no cost to himself if he has control of a "Trust" filled with season ticket money that allows him to drip feed money to the Ibrox Board when they sit up nicely and beg to his satisfaction. But what happens to the WATP boys who have placed their hard earned cash at his disposal? How do they get into Ibrox when Dave says its OK since I assume the "Trust" will not be in a position to issue season tickets.

Abernethy Saint
Dave King is a convicted thief. Isn't it astonishing that you can post this on a public forum about a man that the Orcs see as their 517th financial saviour in the last six months - because it's true and a matter of public record. He stole more than a hefty proportion of the WAP membership will earn in their life-times. He's not in jail because he bought himself out of a jail sentence, a remedy not available to any of us. But, he remains, a convicted criminal, guilty of the largest tax theft in South African history. And now he's talking about corporate governance, transparency, and honesty. How low are they going to stoop? When will they finally wake up and smell the roses? It's like putting Ronnie Biggs in charge of train security. Are they really, really this stupid?????? They can't be, surely. Jamie_Beatson and fazman1977

babychunder
It's a stupid suggestion - withhold cash from a club who is cash starved. It'll increase the pressure to go into admin again, which would enable Dave Boy to buy the whole shebang at a knockdown price. Ah, not so stupid after all Glasshoppa.... Indicator
In other interesting developments over the week end. The following letter draughted and sent, on behalf of The Scottish Football Monitor 'TSFM' to the various relevant parties. The annexes to the letter contain information which may be published at a later date. The originator thought it appropriate to first await any response from any of the recipients. However the annexes which have been described, by some, as 'dynamite' have now appeared in open sources and can be found at: https://drive.google...dit?usp=sharing Harper MacLeod The Ca’d'oro 45 Gordon Street Glasgow G1 3PE 19 Feb 2014 Copy sent to SPFL CEO and Board Members * Dear Mr McKenzie We the contributors to The Scottish Football Monitoring web site write to you in your capacity as the legal adviser employed by Harper MacLeod to assist the Scottish Premier League (now the Scottish Professional Football League) to gather evidence and investigate the matter of incorrect player registrations involving concealed side letters and employee benefit trusts as defined in the eventual Lord Nimmo Smith Commission. We note from the then SPL announcement that set up an enquiry that the initial date range to be covered was from the inception of the SPL in July 1998, but that was changed to 23 November 2000 because, according to our understanding, that is the date of the first side letter supplied by Rangers Administrators Duff and Phelps. It is also our understanding that the SPL asked for all documentation relating to side letters as well as the letters themselves. It is a matter of public record that Rangers Administrators failed to supply the SPL all relevant documentation. Indeed the seriousness of not complying with SPL requests was the subject of an admonition of Rangers/Duff and Phelps from Lord Nimmo Smith under Issue 4 of his Commission. Quite how serious that failure to comply or concealment was in terms of misleading the Commission and so Lord Nimmo Smith can now be assessed from the information contained at Annexes 1 to 10 attached. We think that as legal advisers to the SPL (now the SPFL) you have a responsibility to make them aware that their Commission was misled by the concealment of documents starting on 3 September 1999, and signed by current SFA President Campbell Ogilvie, whose silence on the ebt matters referred to in the attached annexes* is questionable at the very least. This letter but not attachments is being posted on The Scottish Football Monitor web site as this is matter for all of Scottish football and support for the issue being pursued to establish the truth can be gauged by responses from supporters from all Scottish clubs once the letter has been published there. A copy of this letter with Annexes has also been sent to the SPFL CEO and members of the SPFL Board. south inch
Better doing it now n dropping the points while they can afford it than starting a tough season jn the championship with negative points Agreed but there could be 2 problems. 1. At least one player will surely realise that one of the main objectives behind a second admin event will be to allow Sevco to cancel their over generous contracts. So a bit of discord on the park. 2. The deduction should be 25 points as they keep telling us they are the same club. A bit close for comfort! Cue an SFA memo to refs "Get your red cards at the ready and your penalty award skills honed up. Oh and make sure that guy who had the recent Stenhousemuir match is not allowed near any remaining Sevco fixtures."

Das Rave
He is not the messiah, he is a very naughty boy! Something far wrong with your football club when Dave King is the preffered option for some folk! On 14 June 2002 BBC News reported that King faced eleven counts of fraud when he appeared at the Regional Court in Randburg, near Johannesburg. He was alleged to owe the South African revenue service almost £60m.[1] King eventually reached a plea agreement with the South African High Court where he pled guilty to 41 criminal counts of contravening the South Africa Income Tax Act and agreed to pay a fine of 80,000 Rand per criminal conviction or 3.28 million Rand in total. King also agreed, as part of the deal to drop the other 281 criminal charges he faced, to pay the Criminal Assets Recovery Account of the South African Authorities 8.75 million Rand in compensation. King was originally indicted on 322 counts including fraud, tax evasion and evasion of exchange control regulations, as well as money-laundering and racketeering
