Saint Paul
What is actually funny, though, is it not as though the club is actually giving Ibrox away. The money is being secured against the asset, so means that should the club not be in a position to meet it's debts, Ashely has the first dibs on the cash made if that asset is sold, therefore, this would only be done upon liquidation and the assets would have to be sold anyway, to pay the creditors. This just means that Ashely gets his money from the sale of Ibrox before the tax man, the face painter or any other creditor. Everyone's mortgage is secured against their house, so that in the event of you defaulting on your mortgage payments, the house is sold and the bank takes it's money back from this sale. Listening to the Sevco fans. you would think that they had just handed over the keys to Ibrox to Ashley, but this is simply not the case, but it does further strengthen his strangle hold over the club. HOODLUM65
Breaking news- The the rangers shareholder, Dave King calls for a General Meeting at AYE brokes an hopes to spark a regime change. Would think that a EMERGENCY General Meeting would be more in order.
HOODLUM65
Noticed that it was snowing heavily at AYE Brokes, which would put the game in doubt, with a loss of revenue, unless tickets for the game were bought in advance. Might put a wee bit pressure on their financial difficulties.

Tranmere Saintee
What a farce of a game in front of a piss poor crowd. How much pressure was Madden under to start the game and reach half time? ejksjfc and HOODLUM65

ex-montrosesaintee
The yellow ball was the only non white ball The The could find!! They have loads of orange balls, but they'd borrowed £20 for biscuits and used them as security. HOODLUM65
It looks that the fact THE THE are under the cosh that it is going to be called off. Can they no even afford to put the undersoil heating on ? 5more minutes. ****ing laughable. Football authorities need to have a long hard look at themselves. There again, we already know that the lunatics are running the asylum. Only way this game will continue is if THE THE take the lead. OH. ****ING SHAMBLES. ejksjfc

HOODLUM65
What happens regarding the BT SPORT fee for the game to the home club? Has Dung-caster informed Madden that by starting the game, the the will get their fee and if you abandon it, they will again get extra revenue for showing the re-arranged fixture? Dung-caster is bringing in more money to THE, THE than all the other promises of investment.
south inch
What a farce of a game in front of a piss poor crowd. How much pressure was Madden under to start the game and reach half time? Once you let fans into the ground there is pressure on the Ref, don't know who took that decision. Once he had allowed the game to start Madden had little choice other than to let it run for 25 minutes or so before calling it off. He has my sympathy. Glad it was called off, no doubt in my mind which team was more likely to get a lucky goal in those conditions and then the pressure would really have been on to finish the game! HOODLUM65
Get your drift, South Inch. Played in a lot more serious/dangerous conditions in my teens when 'elf and safety were not on the radar. Scottish cuptie against Shettleston Violet away, on a rutted frozen red blaize pitch and just went ahead with it. Got gubbed, was the expression of the day. ex-montrosesaintee
I wouldn't be surprised if the game starting wasn't to ensure the protesting fans were moved inside the ground rather than being bolstered by fans who had traveled but couldn't get in. ancientsaint
What's the significance of a General Meeting as opposed to a EGM....Just asking for those of us that are not up to speed on those things! Timescale - an EGM ( Extraordinary general meeting) means a lesser amount of time for all members to attend rather than waiting for an Annual meeting its all down to the timescale - KING wants it now .
