Kyle
How did Sammy look? Still overweight? Completely anonymous to be honest. He's lost a yard of pace, far too heavy and was absolutely shattered after an hour. One or two flashes of Sammy at his best, but disappointing all round. Sheerin was playing in the holding role, but he also got bullied a bit and came off for a hatchet man at the start of the second half. Widge
I'd like to say I'll be dissappointed at Millar leaving, if he does, but truth be told, I honestly don't think he's a massive lose. Sure it will be hard to find a player with his workrate, but is that what we want down the right, I think Croft showed how much more effective a wideman capable of taking a man on and shooting is. I await the predictable Millar lovers to slate me, but tbh I think we are a much better team with him out of the team, especially if he plays in the middle, he's hopeless there. Sure a good back-up midfielder, but I don't think he should be a starter.

One or two flashes of Sammy at his best, but disappointing all round. Sheerin was playing in the holding role, but he also got bullied a bit and came off for a hatchet man at the start of the second half. I thought it was a great game! Especially when Dumbarton's Nicholl shoved that wee cheat Falkingham over, it's not even the fact he is light-weight, he was just falling over, unnaturally. Sammy really was disappointing, still fat and doesn't even look a class apart in the 2nd division. Mon the sons.
Honest Saints Fan
Forbes at Motherwell has been released. Had a good couple of seasons then disappeared. Maybe still has something to offer? He was fantastic at Dumbarton the year they won the 3rd division, the only time I have really seem him play. Good enough for a starting role in an SPL team though? Dunno. eltel
Truthfully, Falkingham is far too lightweight for the SPL. He would just get bullied, although the ability is definitely there. Josh is still just 21 and I'm sure the majority of Arbroath fans will tell how much he has contributed to their team over the past two seasons, would be a good option for our midfield in my opinion. wesshaw1985
With old pros Jody Morris and Peter Enckleman at the club surely we should be using their extensive contacts with better effect. Jody helped bring Michael Dubbery to the club and surely he can do the same again, same with Encks. Even Steve Lomas came from West Hams reserves so he could grab a couple from their. Marcus Haber will have contacts in Canada aswell. A few names i've come up with are Mikael Forrsell (free), Leon Knight(Glentoran), Mika Vayrynen (Leeds), Joonas Kolkka (in America), Jari Litmanen (free), Freddie Sears and Cristian Montaño (both at West Ham), Ali Gerba (free), Terry Dunfield, Dwayne De Rosario, Patrice Bernier and Julian de Guzman (on loan when MLS season ends) Jamie Peters (Ipswich), Jon Harley(free). Obviously we don't have the finances to sign this lot but they are names we can get within touching distance of and surely something can be worked out with one or two of them fingers crossed. We made a great start to the season this year but we seemed to tail off as the year progressed time to consolidate and push on next year. wesshaw1985
Michael Duberry wasn't a silly signing, Mikael Forrsell and Jon Harley are in very similair situations at the minute so why couldn't it happen?

wesshaw1985
I don't know they aren't being explored, but fingers crossed they are hey. I'm just discussing possible transfers like everybody else does toward the end of the season. Just after opinions on names and general feelings toward certain players and if they can do jobs for us

Maybe still has something to offer? i liked the look of forbes , cracking left foot but seemed to just disappear. i'd imagine Humphreys would be way out of our price range but he's not featured as much as i'd have thought this season an may want a move with regular football

Mate, its no football manager, just cos on that game you can trick big names to playing in the SPL, doesn't mean many of them will be interested. I grant you Morris and perhaps Duberry and Encklemen are exceptions to the rule, but they are no more than that. Of you extensive list of fantasy signings I would say only the 1 west ham boys is possibly both possible and desirable, and only on loan
Das Rave
Rudi Skacel hasn't been offered a contract at Hearts. If we could afford him, he'd be a great signing IMO
