Wish i was Joe McGurn
K cider is still in the go. Not the mat black bottles though, just in cans. We brought in all the high end stuff last year during a cider festival promotion, sat gathering dust for a couple of months then got rid. Apparently the clientel of lochee and fintry are just not ready for high end ciders. Frosty jack sales went through the roof though.
SingaporeSaint
Cidre is what i drink. France is the place for Cidre, produced in the Normandy region. The choice of apple species is essential and the almost rotten ones make a better scrummpy. commonly called " the poor mans champange " If it's not French, it's not worth drinking...yawn ! This one too. Had the pleasure of tasting this when on a tour of the cairngorm brewery in aviemore, they were selling it to promote independent micro breweries. Was nice. Free tour and came out blottoed. And with a cerry oot too.
Kilgour
Kopparberg who are famous for pear cider (not perry) have just launched "Naked Apple" and I will appraise it soon. A carry-out cider I like is Tesco Finest dry cider made by Westons.
