Think its the person but they can appeal, dunno if its possible to transfer the licience over to partner/wife etc

In this case, sounds like it will be the licence holder that loses the licence, but a premises can lose it's 'terms of use' licence if there are continued problems resulting from it being a pub - more the case if always fights etc outside, disruption to the local area etc etc....now, I know the 208 ladies are a rough bunch, but.....

From the Courier

"Licensee Ian Doris said the local authority had raised allegations that breaches of the licensing laws had taken place in recent months.

As a result he was ordered to close his doors on Saturday, losing out on customers who would have been keen to watch European Championship action in what is a traditional football pub.

Mr Doris told The Courier he is confident he will soon reopen for business."

In the Courier it actually says that the licencee is "Bankrupt" :shock:and as a bankrupt he can no longer hold a licence..

Not exactly (tho may be true) Courier print says "P.K.C.said that as far as they were led to believe the licensee had been declared bankrupt" No doubt we will have it confirmed before too long.
