Dave H Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 wonder what odds the bookies are giving for an away win.. Long odds hopefully to make our victory sweeter! Nothing to fear against that lot. Quote

Saint GB Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 If the the lack of interest on here for this game is anything to go by it doesn't look like we'll be taking many! That's aside, really looking forward to this game, I'm hopeful Motherwell will be far from fresh afte their doing in Greece!! All those wishing to sing get as far across to the Motherwell corner as possible - lets get it right up those smelly Motherwll neds!!!! Quote
garydavidson Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 Think I shall have to pop along to this game to show the support for the SPL cause. Quote

dave mc Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 We'd be as well not turning up, Mr Brines is the ref!! Quote
saintcraigieboy Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 Unfortunately not making this. Hoping for a good result but we struggle against teams with pace up front/on wings, Hearts (Templeton), United (Russell, Mackay Steven), Motherwell (Murphy, Humphrey, Ojama, Daley). Hope he gives Millar (not Chris) and Scobie a chance to try and deal with the pace. Would probably have Mackay in right mid as experience in front of right back. Quote
Mad World Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 Am going and think we will put a good fight up. Last week wasnt that bad. Still 10 games without a win. Important we pick up early points as its going to be tight at the bottom this year. Pretty poor that the forum is generating as little interest for the match. 2 pages for a big game compared to how many on other subjects, notably Rangers, is poor. COYS Quote

soulfulsaint Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 Not sure what to make of this one. Go for score draw at 1-1 but we have to be more dominant in midfield than we were at Hearts. Gave away possession to easily and so the defence had too much work to do. Missing Jody. Quote
The ghost of Jim Morton Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 Match day, whooooopieeeee. Hopeful we can take something from this game but to do so we will have to start the game like we started the 2nd half at Hearts otherwise we will get nothing. I hope if Millar is playing ( which I think he will be) that Lomas plays the lad in his best position which is in the middle. Nige and Craig out wide with Muzz central as well. Vine and Higgins up top. At the back I am desperate for the return of Ando in place of Crackers, who defends well enough but can pass to on of our own going forward. All that said, I suspect it will be Mannus MacKay, Wright, Crackers, Davidson. Millar, Cregg, Muzz, Craig. Hasslebaink, Vine. I hope I am wrong.. Just heading down to the Saints club soon. Still TWO seats left on the bus for any last minute travellers. Nice day for it. You can phone the club on (01738) 628391 if yer interested. COYS:D Domooring 1 Quote
garydavidson Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 Warm sunny day down here, you should all get to the game before the miserable winter comes along Quote
George Grieve Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 Any live feeds for this game? Quote
The Inspiration Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 Mannus Mackay Ando Wright Callum Hasselbaink Muzz Cregg Liam Vine Higgins I would go with this, let Muzz battle away in midfield with Cregg being his composed self, Higgins with the link between Vine and the midfield. Still can't understand Ando's exclusion COYS Quote
