Marauder
I think Higgy could do a job in the middle of the park. Good link up play with Vine and liked being on the ball for set plays vs Brizzle City. Just a thought...... A good point. I as impressed with his composure on the ball and his passing was very good
Linky
Best signing for a long time. Hearts' best player last season, am amazed he's not outwith our budget. Will score lots of goals and would rather have him than Sandaza any day. Vine and Beattie up front, Tade on the bench and Hasselbaink on the right wing. Paul N Shark
Superb signing , well chuffed, Beattie is a big strong front man with an eye for goal.

THE LARK SAINT
The luck our forwards are having just now with red cards,Beatie will make his debut v Aberdeen next week, get a booking early in the game then get sent off for a mental celebration taking his top off and running into the East Stand
dave mc
Keep him wrapped in cotton wool all week!
mainstand
deal completed \ccording to Lomas which contradicts the OS which said he was getting a medical on Sunday.
Sir Julius Fuffington
If he can stay fit, he'll be a very useful addition.
Kilgour
deal completed \ccording to Lomas which contradicts the OS which said he was getting a medical on Sunday. I believe medical was Sat. ..OS quoted as medical"over the week-end"

Unfortunately, shirt numbers mean next to nothing these days.

Pop
Plenty of options up front for Saintees this year, good signing! Also says a lot about the financial situation at Hearts, that they could not afford to keep him....
