john1962
They have no assets apart from the money coming in through the gate and the playing staff. They are no where near as attractive as Sevco. I would not be surprised if the best comparison is Gretna and Third Lanark ex-montrosesaintee
ex-montrosesaintee
Tynecastle is and asset of UBIG and not Hearts FC according to the BBC. Regardless of whether Hearts FC find a solution, they may be homeless anyway.
Saline Saint
On the news there Hearts legends started saying that if they go belly up it will be a catastrophy for other Sottish teams and Scottish football in general. All sounds so familiar. As a certain Mr Lomas once said they must be deluded. ex-montrosesaintee
Ridiculous nonsense. It doesn't matter who it is, from Spartans to Real Madrid, if they can't manage themselves within the laws of the game and the country then they deserve to be folded. A spokesman said: “As Heart of Midlothian is subject to an insolvency event, a 15-point deduction will be applied to its total points in the league championship for next season 2013/14. "In addition, Heart of Midlothian is subject to an embargo on registering players with the SPL whilst in administration."
The Neutral
I would guess Hearst fans are quite happy that they finished so far down the table now.
mainstand
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22979684?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Interesting comment from the administrator which backs up Dundees claims about Hearts when he says "we were contacted quite a time ago about taking this on" Wonder when they were first contacted. Easten up in keeping the club afloat up until now. 4 players being released, no money in the bank at all, 10 staff made redundant, rest of staff told they won't be paid Looking for staff to buy 2000 season tickets this week If folk can afford to buy a second one and give it away can they do so Really taking fans for mugs fazman1977 and Carron

mainstand
It would be interesting to know how much money BDO will make out of this. They are stating that any money raised will be used for the CLub, They will only be paid from the final sum taht Ukio agree for Tynecastle. It is further complicated by the fact that the Bank will be in receivership within the next wee while. There admin or liquidator will be lehally bound to try and get as much of the £25m as possible,
Dave H
no cash and relying on selling 3000 season tickets for the future two months. Funny how hearts are not at home first game of the season. As playing us first makes one extra week for then to try and survive. So we manage by with less than 3k season ticket holders so can they.
