babychunder 766 Report post Posted July 17, 2013 For those just arrived. MacBeths is about a tenner for a pint. The three lions across the road is about a third cheaper if you get the local lager. Voddy and other spirits are 3-4x the price at home. Get tanked up on your duty free at your hotel room first I say. 1 Center Half reacted to this

Troillonge 9 Report post Posted July 17, 2013 (edited) There's a pub near the Thon called Kieglekrowa in Holstverita street. Some folks were there last night and said it was great, an auld hoose type of boozer. Dunno how much the beer is though.  It's a good pub! Kieglekroa is the oldest pub in Trondheim, and the prices are not so very worst! Trondheim cheapest beer you can find hand at a pub named Mormors (which means grandmother in English)! Edited July 17, 2013 by Troillonge

vegard 11 Report post Posted July 17, 2013 Holstverita street. Today's Norwegian lesson  veit = alley Holstveita = the Holst alley  adding "street" is therefore redundant!  other street-related words:  gate = street Nordre gate = Northern street Munkegata = the Monk street  vei = road Klæbuveien = the Klæbu road 1 The ghost of Jim Morton reacted to this
