Mylesy
Very pleased with the organisation here and think Marc deserves a pat on the back for doing it. Good price at £15 too considering the train alternative. Can't wait! COYS!
Edstar101
I am up for a couple of afternoon pints before the bus leaves, where exactly is the pickup point? Anyone else keen on a pint at say 2pm somewhere in the west end? Shall I take the edinburgh saints flag? I will be, if I can get away from work. My boss is due to be visiting us on Thursday, but as a football fan (kind of...season ticket holder at Motherwell) he will hopefully understand my lack of focus on Thursday and agree that I would be better off in the pub

Pretty cheap compared with surrounding pubs. 2 pm is good for me.

SaintDougie
Have we made plans for arrival in Perth? Straight to McDiarmid and the Muirton suite or Head for Wetherspoons for a few? What's the general consensus on this?
bigstu
I guess straight to the muirton, won't have too much time to go anywhere else, unless we go to glover arms for a quick one.
Edstar101
Straight to Muirton Suite would do me. Really want to get into East Stand, and as a non-season ticket holder, might have to go in a bit earlier. Although, if I read it right, the main stand is only £1 dearer for non ST holders
bigstu
Go to east. More atmosphere
Edstar101
Go to east. More atmosphere Agreed...always go to east. Would hate to be queuing outside to find it is full and end up having to go to Ormond or North.....I hate being behind the goals, especially at home games

Hated seeing everyone adjacent from me having a great time while all I could hear nothing but moaning and sweetie wrappers. Still had a great day though. bigstu
I was stuck in the main stand second half of the last game of last season against Motherwell..... They were clapping and singing and everything..... But my usual area in the east was ROCKING,,,, that was a tough one to deal with.
The Blue Saint
I'm just going to take the car up now, will need to drive to/from Dunfermline to get the bus so can't have a drink anyway. No point in getting the bus to detour when I'm quicker just driving straight up. If you don't get the numbers I'll still pay my £15.
Baldy Marc
No worries Craig, with Ryan provisionally taking two seats, we should be fine.
Baldy Marc
Ptolemy Augustus McKinnon taking a seat too. Ptol92
Ptol92
I'd be interested assuring I can make it for 4:30 at West End.

I'll be running down Lothian Road straight from work to make the bus. Yeah, definitely take the flag.
SaintDougie
One of my plus one has dropped out unfortunately due to finances. Where does that leave us number wise?

Any more for any more? no more drop outs please! Also, Bus will be picking up at Melville Street, just off Queensferry Street in the West End, leaving at half 4. Nelly78
What about Norrie (Born2Bru) and Neil (Toni Polster)? Davey and Kenny are both going through earlier and staying overnight in Perth, so they're out. I'll try a few work/ex work colleagues, but can't see any of them wanting to go unfortunately. SaintDougie
I've asked about 10 non-Saints fans that I could think of in Edinburgh and none appear to be particularly keen unfortunately. I'm all out of ideas
