Malcolm Lowes Left Foot
Right lads, FAIR MAID will be released on May 1st. It will be available on iTunes, and St Johnstone's Youth Development fund will receive half of any money made! It will also be up on YouTube. Does "half the money made" include royalties (maybe radio tay might play it a couple of times) and a share of the 0.005 pence for every play on youtube? Paul N Shark
Folk will probably donate a few bob to the youth development fund if we don't have to sing it
The Real Saints
Does "half the money made" include royalties (maybe radio tay might play it a couple of times) and a share of the 0.005 pence for every play on youtube? Hadn't really taken royalties into account. If we're entitled to royalties and receive some, I see no reason why that can't be arranged. You only begin to get paid for YouTube videos after 100,000 views as far as I'm aware.
The Real Saints
Wow. Almost 2000 YouTube views in just under 12 hours and a spot just outside the top 100 in the iTunes pop charts. Thank you to everyone who has downloaded, listened to, or shared the song today. Even if you don't like it, it's much appreciated. StvJC2309
I think it's really, really good. The closer we get to May 17 the more poignant it'll become. OK, it's not going to be sung on the terraces, but I'm sure loads of folk will be listening to this on the eve & morning of the final & 'have a moment'. It actually gets better the more you listen to it. Actually, it's brilliant.
