All this from united...

wheres the announcement from our club?

Dundee united have an absolutley amazing group of fans representatives who work with the board but also are willing to take them on, on behalf of the fans.

They are a group of highly organised, highly passionate and highly motivated fans made up of mostly professional men.

They do a great job for their club and this is another example of that.

But these announcements are form dundee United official not the fans group. Would they have been involved in the planning meetings?

From the outset, as they have been in the past for occasions such as this. The board respects the fans group a lot as they are pretty powerful in Dundee but also talk a lot of sense. They refuse to let their club be bullied by the powers that be and Steven Thompson has their backs as they have his.

I know a guy Mike Barile who devoted his life to Arabtrust, to the detriment of his professional career to some extent as a well regarded mathematics teacher at Madras college, St. andrews.

Dundee United run most things past them before official announcements are made.

All this speculation isn't helping anyone, theres about three different versions of seating arrangements and pricing going about, and seemingly every single one of them is 100% as its come from those involved with the SFA or one of the clubs. As far as I'm aware they've only just started talking to the clubs about how it'll be structured, they won't decide it in one or two days

You're a fine one to be talking about speculation.  One of the first posts you made after the semi contained the line "early figures suggest 10 - 15,000 travelling to the final" as if fans had been contacting you personally to say they were going.  As it happens your guess was pretty good - it made me chuckle the way you put it across that you had some sort of research done on it though.

Most people will pay the £28 price. For the biggest game in our history-a national cup final-that's not a surprising price at all. The English FA cup final is a minimum £45. The cheapest it was ever going to be was £25 - is £3 really going to put people off this game? I really doubt it.

dont think it was 28/10 tickets that has caused outrage it

Was the 35 quid with no concesions ones and understanbly so

think with the concessions we should still be able to take through 15/16k thats provided that the sfa dont limit them to a set amount like they tried with the utd fans initially

No-one is ever going to be forced to buy a £35 ticket though. There will be plenty of the cheaper tickets available.
