Tranmere Saintee 1,096 Report post Posted April 19, 2014 Great performance from us, i do hope utd play as bad as that in the final. Personally don't think Utd played badly as more we played well and didn't allow them into the game for large periods. 1 auld reekie saint reacted to this
The ghost of Jim Morton 2,417 Report post Posted April 19, 2014 Don't fancy us at all today. After the Lord Mayor's Show and all that. United are more used to success but last week was one of the biggest days in history of St Johnstone and just not quite sure the players will have their feet back on the ground.  Would be nice to think that a few extra local home fans will turn out for the team but won't be holding my breath.    No like you to be wrong Radders...   Well that was braw.. This season just gets better and better. Some brilliant performances out there today. O'Halloran was top drawer as was McLean. The back four were mostly solid and Alan Mannus was unbeatable. ( 22nd shut out of the season). Ando was yet again my man of the match but only just. As for the Sand Dancers, they seemed to only have one tactic, howf the ball up front and hope for the best. I'm sure they will be much better in the cup final but then so will we.. This is the best season EVER... Well done Saints.   ARMAGEDDON!!!!!!!!!!! 3 Norsaint, Wendy Saints and Center Half reacted to this
Center Half 422 Report post Posted April 19, 2014 Think TW needs to keep giving" O- Hall -o ran" game time can only get him confidence for next season,
dave mc 1,370 Report post Posted April 19, 2014 Could've been 5 or 6, twice off the post and May misses two 1 on 1's with the keeper.Really decent performances right through the team,no failures, and another clean sheet against the Matalan Catalans! 2 monkfish and croc reacted to this
jhq 1,409 Report post Posted April 19, 2014 As easy a win as I've ever seen us have against the Arabs, could and should have been more. Â Hope this performance is repeated in the final - if it is then I can see us winning the Cup nae bother. Â Solid performances throughout the team, but especially Mannus, Ando, Cregg and O'Halloran. Ali91 800 Report post Posted April 19, 2014 Quite clear that the two sets of players really don't like each other. Now I'm not one to point the finger, but I'm blaming Paddy Cregg. That man hates the Shed. That was bloody brilliant so it was. 3 R_mac, Scobby_SJFC and deej reacted to this
55saint 159 Report post Posted April 19, 2014 A very, very good performance - at some points in the game, the passing was reminiscent of Barcelona at their best  - genuinely only one team in it - very surprised at the Arabs lack lustre performance - let's hope it is the same on 17th May 2 Wendy Saints and HOODLUM65 reacted to this
