Das Rave
It's a national newspaper, and those who write in it are supposed to be fluent in English, surley a sports journalist in Scotland knows how to spell the names of Scottish Football teams. Â Was going to write that littered with deiberate spelling mistakes, but it was too much like hard work!
Benjo
I'd be happy to have him back here. Liam Craig is worth 6-8 goals a season from midfield. Can't think of any midfielders on our books that can match that. Play him in the centre, let Spoony take the free kicks.

AthensSaint
Regardless of my opinion, if TW brings him back then I will support LC 100%. Still sceptical about it at the moment. XxLeahSaintxX
auld reekie saint
If he did come back he would have plenty to prove. I reckon he is the sort of guy who would rise to that challenge. If Tommy is after a left sided player he fits the bill. If he does return imagine how jealous he will feel on the first day back when the other players say " show us your medals". glenrothes saintee
I will welcome Liam back, but I hope he is prepared to spend a lot of the season sitting in the dug out.
50yrs a Saint
Thanklessly goodness Tommy Wright is the manager and not many of the posters on here! He delivered two remarkable away wins in Europe, top six finish, league cup semi and first ever Scottich cup victory. (On an ever reducing wage budget) If Tommy decides he wants Liam back, that's good enough for me! At this time I'd even forgive him for Fallon and Big Chris!! Don't know about the rest of you but I trust Tommy and the board. Kyle
rik2304
Of course the management team are on holiday just now. Wouldn't be like the papers to make shit up just cos he played here before. 55saint
AthensSaint
We have the Hibie reject aka Spoony who was apparently not good enough for them. I truely believe that DW is on the verge of an explosion and has potential to be a great. Okay, his goal scoring form needs work. His free kicks need work. He "nearly" scored one of the best scottish cup final goals ever. TW I believe will turn DW into a midfielder that Strachan will be looking at very soon. If Liam Craig does come back, I hope Liam can learn from DW on how to deliver a corner and maximise our deadball opportunities. Under DW, I am sure Liam can improve his game. Is their room for both though ????
Tranmere Saintee
Of course the management team are on holiday just now. Wouldn't be like the papers to make shit up just cos he played here before. Just because TW is away does not stop the management team from chasing his targets, he will have very little to do with the negotiations. The Blue Saint
It would take him back but don't think he would play every week like he did before.
rik2304
Just because TW is away does not stop the management team from chasing his targets, he will have very little to do with the negotiations. Who will do that? The thing is. Would Liam have been a target before Hibs relegation and subsequently being told he could find another club? rik2304
It would take him back but don't think he would play every week like he did before. That's a positive for me though. He had no real competition before. He would now.
Balhousie Blue 1884
Liam did a great job for us. But that was then and this is now. He would make a decent squad player now but I`d prefer to see some of our young players step up to the plate should any of our regulars be out injured/suspended. StansTheMan
Would definitely take him back. Hibs have ruined numerous players - especially Liam. It doesn't mean he couldn't recapture his previous form for us though. As a midfielder who was our joint top goalscorer last season I think we'd be stupid not to take him back - if the opportunity arose.

garydavidson
Spoony Craig Davidson O'Hallaron Moist Thought our issue was needing a left footed guy for the left wing. You think Tommy would play him in the middle?
Jiangsu Sainty
I don't for a second buy into this 'players shouldn't return' idea. But.... Â My only concern is whether signing Craig after punting Hasselbaink for wages and Cregg to make room for youth really makes sense. He's a good player and I like him, but if Caddis and Brown were going to be right up with the first team last week, why are they moving one slot further down today? If we get Craig are we then finished for Dunne? Can only assume so. Â I really hope it works out though.
MrBored
If Craig signed I can only see it being to fill in the left hand side. Brown will be used in centre mid and I think that is why Cregg has left. Â Not sure on Caddis at all....this is a very big season for him.
