Saintdunc
They finished 6th in the English Premiership. Roy Hodgson was the manager. Exactly. Far higher than where Wednesday languish now. McCormick and Rhodes will still be ahead I fear.

Saintdunc
Don't know if he is right or wrong. Do you ? Dunno mate, wasn't me who mentioned Spence. I just heard the comments on 2 sheffield radio stations and my post was challenged seemingly indcating that Spence had the correct info. Strawman
Tell me we didn't actually offer him an extra 150 a week!? How much do we think Saints players earn if we think £150 extra a week is a derisory amount. I d have thought an extra £150 a week would have represented a 10 - 15 % increase on what he was on and would represent a decent rise. I m purely guessing though, no real idea what his wages were. How much would folks expect Saints to have offered him ?
541ntees
Probably shouldn't have said this on an open forum, however, my source was a reliable one! I realise Saints have a strict wage structure... But?!?⚽ less than a week ago someones reliable source (mays dad) said he was staying.  if sb offered to double mays wages it still wouldnt have been enough for many on here.  Stevie May was an outstanding player but we have lost many great players over the years , none of which are bigger than the team.
