lethamsaintee
Had no signal in the ground or would've updated. Rode our luck at times but came out strong in the second half and floored them a bit with our goal and near miss. Wright and Spoony lost possession cheaply a fair bit, but otherwise can't fault anyone. Great performance and result. As for luzern fans attacking Saints' fans - one of the youngsters threw a can at a luzern fan and got a kickin, or so I heard. Stupidity, but no mass brawl or anything shameful. Apparently the police didn't bother with it. Buses took us 2 miles to the ground and back. The police didn't want a march. Would never happen at home. Well organised. 6 bendy buses crammed full o saintees if all shapes and sizes and ages. The bus was JUMPING on the journey back with all the repertoire in loud voice, jumping and rockin the bus and waving to the miserable looking luzern fans outside. Stand up/sit down if you hate Dundee, knock knock, Stevie may, George o'boyle, Dunkeld road, etc, etc. best bus journey I've ever been on! Oh you'll never see a coagie in Luzern was a good one. Sorry about the bbc and their usual nonsense. Almost entirely correct. Certainly no mass brawl or such. Bit of utter stupidity on the young lads part but it was quickly dealt with and put to a stop. Kyle
Pass about well. Quick on the flanks but final ball generally poor. Better than Minsk, but so are East Fife. On a par perhaps with Rosenborg, if not a little bit better. I'd agree with this. I'm glad we've got them now, before their new players all bed in. Considering we were missing Anderson, Davidson and May (ie our 3 best players) we were excellent last night. Kudos to the crowd also - other than a nervous last 5, we didn't stop singing all night. My throat is still sore.

RandomGuy
Anyway I was of the thought process that 1-1 would be a good result, that away goal could be vital, and we'll certainly have chances at McDiarmid. Can't get over confident though, Minsk taught us how unforgiving European football can be if you get arrogant. As an aside it feels like we're Scotlands best hope again, Aberdeen and Motherwell seem to have bottled their chances
sleepless
There's very little to choose between the sides. They're good with the ball but weak in the final third. A decent goalscorer and they'd be very good. They're better actors than us - winning fouls and getting away with their own fouls. We've nothing to fear and everything to gain. Al C
Saints were excellent last night, especially with some key players missing. Luzern are a decent side, they passed the ball about well going forward but maybe lacked a decent final pass. We've certainly got a great chance of going through but they will think they can score in Perth at least. The support was absolutely brilliant again, tremendous atmosphere. I didn't witness any of the previously mentioned trouble but as Andrew and Letham have said apparently it was just a daft laddie throwing a can rather than anything organised or such like. I've got a very sore head just now. garydavidson
PerthSeany
Typically the guys he throws the can at were absolutely massive. Not to be messed with...

Didn't see it at the time but after it calmed he did look absolutely fuming. I think he was trying to calm it but they were having none of it. mainstand
so the story that Saints fans were attacked on the road to the ground and Ghostie was punched in the face ends up as a lad throwing a beer can and it getting sorted out without any polis and ghostie getting kicked and not punched. Lochwinnochsaintee
Can anyone let me know if there was a match programme? I know you could download one but I would like an actual programme. Ta There was one which I bought from the ticket office at the Swissporarena which doubles as the programme for their game against Sion on Sunday. It's all in German and only apparently one article about our game. Very cheap though, 1 CHF. Might be better to download and use a translation program if like me you don't speak German.
