Hardolez21 Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Hi, Rotherham fan in peace. Just wanted to get an idea from you guys to see if you think it looks like Stevie could be on his way to us? And if you think he's good enough for the Championship? Reports down here keep linking us with him and Steve Evans has stated he rates him but refuses to say we've bid for him. UTM Quote
Broon Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Afraid he's out of budget for you guys. He's good enough for SPL/Europa League so yes, by default, is good enough for the Championship. Quote
slf Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Too good for you.cannae see him wanting to play for a club that plays in a small village in Sheffield. Quote
AthensSaint Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Stevie May joining Rotherham is about as funny as the least funniest joke the Chuckle Brothers have ever come up with. Max Greaves 1 Quote

I wouldn't say being in the Europa League nescaserily means you're good enough for the Championship, didn't drogheda united play in the Europa league? Quote

Honest Saints Fan Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 May is far too good for Rotherham. Diddies. Quote
Hardolez21 Posted July 31, 2014 Author Report Posted July 31, 2014 May is far too good for Rotherham. Diddies. Adam Le fondre was too good for us, we still had him. If there's talk of him leaving, surely he's too good for you? Quote

Reports down here keep linking us with him and Steve Evans has stated he rates him but refuses to say we've bid for him. UTM I think he probably could play at a higher level but if you guys offer £1m upfront I'm not sure we'd turn it down. Personal terms may be a different matter though. I don't know, but i suspect we're paying him relatively well and he definitely likes his 'big man' status in Perth. Would probably take a lot to tempt him. Quote
ex-montrosesaintee Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Yes, he's too good for us, but he's a Saints fan and quite rightly believes that his future lies at the very top of the game. He's not going to sign for the first diddy English league team that offer a million quid. So St Johnstone might accept a million quid, but Stevie would just laugh. Quote
slf Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Remind me how many first team games he started last season? You should know you said you are a Rotherham fan. Quote
Honest Saints Fan Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Offt they have Kirk Broadfoot too. Definitely Diddies. He wouldn't get near our team. Quote

Not sure how much you know about Steve Evans but when he gets his sights on a transfer target, he seems to not let it go until he signs them. If we offered £1m up front and around 10k per week which is what was rumored, do you think you'd accept or is that too low? Quote
Hardolez21 Posted July 31, 2014 Author Report Posted July 31, 2014 You should know you said you are a Rotherham fan. I believe he started 1 league game since joining a year ago but could be wrong. Quote
Jimmy Wallace Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Welcome to WAP Hardolez21 and any other Millers who are looking in. I can't see Stevie joining you lot. He's waiting for a big move and I'm afraid a poor Championship side doesn't really fit the bill. Stick to rejects like Broad Clubfoot. Quote
