Stevie May

That lad we all watched scoring goals for fun certainly looked like a very good prospect to me. I am convinced that there is a great player there. Hopefully he can make it work down south.

Other teams up here were terrified of him and his style of play. My wife, who barely watches football, spotted how the Dundee United defence was reacting to him in the cup final and said that they were totally rattled.

Did he simply leave too soon? Did he not get enough time by an impatient club?

Did he score more goals with or without Steven MacLean alongside him?

To many up here it just seems bizarre to see Stevie struggle in a league where haddies like Daryl Murphy (3 goals in 23 games for Celtic) and Clayton Donaldson  (6 in a season at Hibs) are able to score. However, the Championship is an incredibly fast and physical league compared to the Scottish Prem. Unfortunately for Stevie, he's neither particularly fast or physical.
