50yrs a Saint
Must admit I'm brassed off with all the negativity on here and bile directed towards the Brown's. This topic is for those who wish to, to show their appreciation with positivity as we enter another league campaign. For those who want to continue being negative there are many other threads for you to pollute if you so wish. Thanks you to the Chairman, the Board, the team and everyone behind the club for the most amazing period in our history! Three in a row top flight finishes, three in a row European adventures, some thrilling football, some amazing results, a financially stable club, a Scottish Cup victory, and a new crop of promising talent coming through from our youth structure. We are continuing to build a legacy to ensure club will be there for my grandson to support when he grows up! Best of luck for the new season Saints and thanks for the journey so far. It has been a blast!!! Kilgour, BrechinSaintee, Lt. Col Kojak Slaphead II and 14 others
The ghost of Jim Morton
It's been great and lets hope that the club now release some funds to our manager so we can have a chance to continue with our recent success. patron saint and rik2304

rik2304
Always love Saints. Always be a Saintee when its good, bad, terrible or spectacular. Last season was pretty spectacular and I will still be there if we lose every game this season! We should not hide from the fact that this close season has been disappointing but I do believe that ultimately we are going in the right direction. Time to move on. Trust Tommy, trust the team and trust in Steve Brown. gertiesaints

Saintdunc
Agreed sixties saintee, my love affair started in 1960 as a 6 year old. Roller coaster indeed. Willie Ormond era was terrific but recent seasons have been sublime. sixties saintee

Balhousie Blue 1884
Great thread. Thanks 50years a Saint. About time someone on here positive about the club. All the doom mongers on this forum are trying to turn what should be our greatest summer into our most depressing. gertiesaints
slf
Watched DVD st.johnstone 125 years. What a special club we support. End of the DVD it's mentioned the only thing missing is a national league or Scottish cup win.it seems like there was meant to be a part two following on with a Scottish cup win.did the club know ? Dave Ferg
Wonderful (as my mate said the night we tore Rangers Mk 1 apart under Del). What was the catalyst for our recent success? For me Roddy Grant's return has been very significant and for anyone that doesn't know, he puts in a massive shift at the club.
