Cagerf Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 I think he is smarter than to go to Cardiff but expect he could go to another club when a good chance comes along. Quote
rik2304 Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Not complaining but I wonder why nobody is looking at TW. Quote

HOODLUM65 Posted September 18, 2014 Author Report Posted September 18, 2014 Official. Ole has stepped down. Latest.......Derek Adams interview coming up on "Sky" Quote
Gussie Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Merry go round with Pardew, Magarth definitely looking at other opportunities. West Brom and Blackpool aren't good places to be either. Â Second time Tan has dabbled in managers lives - Malky, now Solkjaer. Still a place for a kno$head like Lennon? Â Strange game football, look at Paul Lambert..last season was looking at a P45, but now being offered a contract extension at AV. Quote

Brogan Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Football speak for come and get me/ Â The phrase, "I'm very flattered by the link but I've got a job to do here" is always interpreted by the media as distancing a manager from a move, but I've always read it as "I'm interested, speak to my agent."Â Quote
Saintdunc Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) Has Mike Ashley had it with Pardew? Joked that tonight was win or else then said it was a joke. Can he afford to pay him off or are they really buddies? Edited September 29, 2014 by Saintdunc Quote
Cagey Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Has Mike Ashley had it with Pardew? Joked that tonight was win or else then said it was a joke. Can he afford to pay him off or are they really buddies? The idiot gave him a long contract on strength of a few good results in his first few month. Will cost a fortune to buy him out. Should have sacked him after the head butt & tacken his chances at tribunal. Quote

Still has 6 of an 8 year contract to go so, as you say cagey, it will cost Ashley a fortune to sack him, but they both could tough it out yet. He must have been unhappy last night after Fat Sally let him down as well. Apparently, according to MÃ ilonline, it will cost 5 million to punt him. Edited September 30, 2014 by Saintdunc Quote
Tranmere Saintee Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 The rumour was (and still is) that Pardew owes Ashley mega bucks and that was why he was given such a long contract so that he could pay it back on the never never. Quote

Yeah I heard his original appointment had something to do with Casino debts and Derek Llambalas(possibly butchered that surname). Quote
garydavidson Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Pardew says he does not gamble, which obviously he would say http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2049351/Alan-Pardew-Newcastle-manager-explodes-myths.html Quote

Manages for zilch then! Quote
