patsy
and dundee has more than double the population of perth, its no surprise they can have 2 teams. im surprised so many fans have such a short memory. yoyoing is what we do, just because weve had a bit of success recently, really isnt a reason to get on the boards/ managements back. Every season we stay in the spl is a good season, so just because we've been relegated before we should just accept the inevitable and not try to prevent it. We may as well just forfeit the rest of this season and take relegation now as its bound to happen soon

canuck_saint
I just don't get the short sighted view of some. Unfortunately its an attitude shared by too many. The shortsighted view is that saints somehow have a god given right to be ine SPL. And that every year we are there, should be better than the year before. Get realistic! There is not a single saints fan who wouldnt want us to be pushing sellick (or hamilton ) for the title, the reality is that will happen once in a blue moon

I'm all for planning for a rainy day but its gone too far too soon. None of the managers initial targets would have cost the earth. In fact it could be argued that the signing of Goodwillie could have developed into another sellable asset imo. Cagey

patsy
Nightmare dundee getting a last minute goal today. Do people think we will make the top 6? Im not feeling very confident having look at the remains fixtures for us dundee and killie. Some players really need to step up and show there worth
Broon
We're having a run of hard games just now. This is what happened earlier in the season, we got Aberdeen, Inverness, Celtic etc all at once then had a couple of shockers against the smaller teams. Bam, 5 match losing run. Means we have still to get St Mirren, county, Kilmarnock, Dundee, Partick all soon. Won't be much in it.

andrew
Our main problems have been inconsistency and a lack of goals. Doesn't matter about easier or harder run of games. Matters that we find a degree of consistency and a few goals.
MrBored
Probably come down to the Dundee game just before the split.
THE LARK SAINT
Hamilton will be dragged into a 3 way fight between us Dundee and them

Abernethy Saint
Anyone think Hamilton might be dragged into it?
RandomGuy
Hamilton are too far ahead. Dundee have a harder run of games to finish the season on, so that should see us pip them. Have to say I'm secretly hoping it comes down to the final game before the split when we actually play Dundee at McDiarmid.
Gort
Hope it goes to that game at McDiarmid, do we get to keep it if we win there again ?
THE LARK SAINT
Dont agree Random,if Accies lose today they are on the mix, will have played 2 more games than us
RandomGuy
Dont agree Random,if Accies lose today they are on the mix, will have played 2 more games than us Regardless it would still be a seven point gap to over turn, doesnt seem a reasonable gap to claw back. ancientsaint
Whats the proposals for those finishing in the bottom 3 - Is it an automatic relegation for the bottom club -then what ? Think Saints are too far ahead to drop down that far (hopefully) In the same verse we can still achieve top 6.

Nothing happens to those in 10th. We've absolutely no chance of being near needingnto worry about all that though. ancientsaint

Inchcolm
My prediction points for remaining games Saints 13 points total 47 Dundee 6 points total 42 Kilmarnock 12 total 44 Hamilton 10 points total 51 Would change dramatically if we failed to beat Kilmarnock and Dundee at home
