No surprise there then.

Time they got their priorities sorted, especially in the Planning dept.

To right, but the block of flats in south street, princess street, canal street and the other street, i can not remember the name of it and shops have started getting letters from the council telling them about the plans and if anyone objects against the plans going ahead.

They are all Communists you know

The new Greek PM is ex communist and he seems quite cool tbh. No tie etc etc. Sounds like he wants to tax alll the hard workers earners who stay in the office for hours so to then give to comrades that sit on the beach all day sunning an opportunity to buy suntan lotion.

Nothing wrong with that, makes a change for what has been going on here for the last five years, the screw is turning, its coming.

And so in the end a change in circumstances meant that we had to cancel our trip to Inverness and our overnight stay in Perth.  Instead we got ourselves 2 nights deluxe room B&B in the Cameron House Hotel for £196.  Now that was one heck of a deal.  Absolutely tops,  Brilliant stay.

My (English) Mrs found herself just loving the place, the Scots staff, the food, the hill walking and the scenery.  And on way home as we headed down the M74 towards the noise and 'way too busy' South of England she did actually say that she'd think about us moving to Scotland in a few years time.  In years (and years...) past living in Scotland was not an option.  The girl is getting it...taken her 25 yrs mind.

And a sidenote - we had lunch in the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel (in Luss).  Lovely bar and splendid food.

Glad that you enjoyed it. Spent 24 years in the area for the most part travelling past Loch Lomond each day to work.
