PauloPerth
No guarantees it would be Red Star that either alashkert or Saints would be facing. Kairat Almaty are halfway through their season, 2nd in the table and going well. Though who knows what the standard of the kazak league is??!! http://uk.soccerway.com/teams/kazakhstan/fc-kairat-almaty/1358/

byebyedundee
IF.....IF...... we were to meet Red Star (imagine!), that would be EsEs part two IMO. I think the Red Star folk would welcome the Saints Euro party......all 500 ? who'd make the trip.... The draw has twisted my melon the day...........could it have been ANY WORSE????? Israel? Could we have ended up beyond Iraq, Syria etc, and not just next door isreal would of been great...

Kyle
At least we'll keep up our record of never having been to the same country twice. Germany, Hungary, Bosnia, Finland, France/Monaco (depending on how you look at it), Turkey, Norway, Belarus, Switzerland, Slovakia, Armenia and potentially Serbia or Kazahkstan. Impressive going. lossiesaint
Just asking my company if they can give me a ball park figure for chartering an aircraft to Yeveran. If I get anything back I'll let you know. It would be up to 49 seats on a jet aircraft. HOODLUM65
FK Crvena zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) (SRB) or FC Kairat Almaty (KAZ) And folk moan about 2015/16 fixture list being unkind to us?? At least this will give them something to REALLY moan about. Personally I'm gutted. Was looking for a nice we jaunt. Rosenburg doesn't feel so bad now, tho' had a great time. south inch
from gov.uk Summary Still current at: 22 June 2015 Updated: 31 October 2014 Latest update: Terrorism section – there is a heightened threat of terrorist attack globally The border between Armenia and Azerbaijan is closed. There are frequent violations of the 1994 ceasefire between these countries from military emplacements along the border. The FCO advise against all but essential travel to parts of the regions of Tavush and Gegharkunik that border Azerbaijan. Due to increased tension in the security situation along the border in the Tavush region in July and August 2014, we continue to advise against all travel on the M16/H26 road between the towns of Ijevan and Noyemberyan, which in places passes close to the border and military emplacements. Villages and connecting roads between the main M16/H26 artery and the border to its east should also be avoided. In the region of Geghargunik, the FCO advise against all travel to villages to the east of the main M14 artery which are located close the border. See Local travel The British Embassy can’t provide consular assistance or advice to visitors to the Nagorno-Karabakh region. See Political situation There is a low threat from terrorism. See Terrorism Avoid all demonstrations and large public gatherings. In May 2012 a gay-friendly bar in downtown Yerevan was attacked and a diversity march in central Yerevan was disrupted by nationalist groups. See Local Laws and Customs From 10 January 2013, British and EU passport holders no longer require a tourist visa to visit Armenia. See Visas Take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance before you travel. Apart from the above everything else is fine!
sainties sheep
Disappointing draw for the fans but even if you don't make the away game, we have yet another big European night in Perth. Let's fill McDiarmid and make it a great night! Exactly. They say that football is a game of 2 halves, the second half in Perth should be made a night that the visitors, (whoever they are) never forget. Get it packed and turn the volume up to 11 !!
