Kyle
I'm converted. He's been excellent in recent months. I've got the feeling he's playing his way into a new Celtic contract, but I'd be delighted to see him signing for us permanently. jhq
I'd love to see him stay. Good contribution from him over the last few games and still young enough to improve a hell of a lot.
mike_gain
I don't think his play going forward can be criticised, seems to be getting more confident and has been part of some important goals and has been at times the only spark in some pretty dire performances.Howevever while I couldn't make it to Tynecastle the performances previously have me asking questions about his defendive ability. But I will accept that he has shown improvements here also so there's hope he can develop this area of his game further if he stays. He'll hopefully be learning from one of the most reliable right backs Saints have ever had.
Broon
Agree with above. His positioning at times this season has been poor but he's definitely improved. Going forward he's good. He's also a good passer. Worth a contract for me.I finally think our defence is starting to settle down. You have to remember we've lost two hugely experienced players at the back and replaced them with youth. Joe and Fisher are coming onto a game now and we're benefiting. wee john
If he is as good as some think then I think we have little chance of signing him.even if sellick don't want him, then the run in the team and a goal yesterday is a dream for his agent to tout him to all and sundry.he will also be on more money than we can afford and lots more clubs will pay far more than we will.catch 22, we improve him and others see that and we lose out. RandomGuy
He clearly still considers him a Celtic fan, judging by his Social media, so its fairly clear he'll renew his deal there if they ask him to. I originally thought they would due to his performances lately and the fact they seem to struggle in that position, but apparently they plan on cutting adrift every spare bit of driftwood they can and pumping money into the first team, so he might well be available. Nelly78
I'm not too sure his positioning's been as bad as some are making out. I think there's maybe a bit of manager's orders going on, with the full backs tucking in and playing a bit more centrally when we're defending. Towards the start of the season when we were conceding goals and chances, lots of teams had success in the channels between the full backs and centre backs. There quite often seemed to be huge spaces there. Now we seem much more compact and difficult to break down defensively. A more settled back 4 has probably helped as well though. Theres times when he literally ends up in central midfield, which is the problem. He'll learn though.

Guest ScottMann
Caught on the BT commentary that when Darnell signed for Celtic he was a central midfield player. Looks like Tommy playing him there wasn't as random as first thought.
