Migrants

Reading through this thread just makes me realise how proud we should be that - thanks to our democratic Western mindset, cultural superiority and unblemished history of gender equality - no white British male has ever committed a sexual assault.

The Jay report into failings in Rotherham says: “By far the majority of perpetrators were described as Asian by victims, yet throughout the entire period, councillors did not engage directly with the Pakistani-heritage community to discuss how best they could jointly address the issue.

“Some councillors seemed to think it was a one-off problem, which they hoped would go away. Several staff described their nervousness about identifying the ethnic origins of perpetrators for fear of being thought racist; others remembered clear direction from their managers not to do so.”

Ceop data about the ethnicity of offenders and suspects identified by those 31 police forces in 2012 is incomplete.

The unit says: “All ethnicities were represented in the sample. However, a disproportionate number of offenders were reported as Asian.”

Of 52 groups where ethnicity data was provided, 26 (50 per cent) comprised all Asian offenders, 11 (21 per cent) were all white, 9 (17 per cent) groups had offenders from multiple ethnicities, 4 (8 per cent) were all black offenders and there were 2 (4 per cent) exclusively Arab groups.

Of the 306 offenders whose ethnicity was noted, 75 per cent were categorised as Asian, 17 per cent white, and the remaining 8 per cent black (5 per cent) or Arab (3 per cent).

Migrant crisis: Norway begins deportations to Russia

Norway has sent 13 migrants back to Russia under new rules expected to see thousands deported by bus, reports say.

About 5,500 people are due to be transported from Norway to Russia. Many crossed the Arctic border by bicycle as part of the influx of migrants to Europe in 2015.

Norway announced in November it would immediately deport people who had arrived from a country deemed safe.

The first bus left a refugee shelter in the town of Kirkenes earlier.

Norway previously planned to send the migrants back to Russia by bicycle due to rules that banned vehicles from transporting people across the border without the necessary documents. People were also prohibited from crossing on foot.

Thousands of migrants used bicycles to cross the border last year after discovering a loophole in the law.

Most of them had fled the conflict in Syria.

The move to deport the migrants has been condemned by human rights groups. The daytime temperature at the border is about -30C.

It comes after Russia agreed that Norway could return migrants with a Russian visa by bus rather than bicycle.

A coach with 13 people on board drove to the airport in the Russian port city of Murmansk on Tuesday night, according to Norwegian public TV.

Tor Espen Haga, a spokesman for the Norwegian police immigration service, told the broadcaster NRK (in Norwegian), that all those transported had either a valid Russian visa or other residence permit.

He said deportations would continue, and "what happens next is up to the Russians".

Over the weekend, about 70 people were brought from other asylum centres in Norway to the reception centre in Kirkenes, about 8km (5 miles) from the Russian border, according to reports.

About 40 people have fled a centre in Vadso for fear of being returned to Russia, Norwegian media quoted the head of the centre as saying.

There were also reports that a group of migrants in Kirkenes had started a hunger strike to protest against the planned deportation.

Norway's police authorities say 5,500 people arrived from Russia via the border crossing in Kirkenes in the second half of 2015.

All of them had visas or other permits allowing them temporary or long term stay in Russia and will therefore be returned, reports the BBC Russian Service's Oleg Boldyrev.

Human rights groups have condemned the move in a letter to the UN's refugee agency, our correspondent adds. They say Russia should not be considered a safe place for refugees.

Increasing numbers of migrants began crossing Russia's border with Norway by bicycle last year, in an attempt to avoid the perilous journey across the Mediterranean to Europe.

Although Norway is not a member of the EU, it is part of the Schengen Agreement which is designed to provide border-free travel.

Migrant crisis RIPS EU apart: Schengen agreement SCRAPPED amid final bid to avert chaos

TURMOIL within the European Union has grown as bewildered leaders agreed to scrap its founding principle of free movement in response to the escalating migrant crisis.

Ailing Brussels staggered ever closer to its own grave with the announcement the flagship Schengen agreement, for so long thought indispensable, is being shelved because of the refugee chaos.

Nations are now set to reimpose border controls for the first time in more than 30 years, effectively killing off Brussels' dream of creating a European superstate to rival America and China.

A number of EU heavy hitters have lined up in recent weeks to warn Schengen was vital to the survival of the 28-nation bloc, which is paralysed by indecision and facing extinction over its failure to control the flow of millions of migrants into the continent.

But leaders, under pressure from increasingly Eurosceptic electorates have ignored their pleas, and the landmark free movement agreement is now set to be suspended for at least two years.

Panicked EU leaders are set to abandon the Schengen agreement

More than a million migrants entered Europe last year

The decision, taken yesterday by European interior ministers, is a huge blow to the whole concept of the EU which has described Schengen as its "biggest ever achievement".

Klaas Dijkhoff, the Dutch migration minister who chaired acrimonious talks in Amsterdam, announced the decision to trigger Article 26 of the Schengen rules which allows border controls to be extended.

He said: “Currently, the temporary border measures can be taken only for a period of six months.

"But the unprecedented influx of asylum seekers, which compelled member states to take these measures nationally, has not decreased yet.

“Member states invited the commission to prepare the legal and practical basis for the continuance of temporary border measures through article 26 of the Schengen border code.”

Currently 26 of the EU's 28 member states are signed up to Schengen

Another four million people are expected to smuggle themselves into the continent this year

If border controls were allowed to remain for two years, it is difficult to see that they would ever be removed

After the meeting a gloomy EU official said: “If border controls were allowed to remain for two years, it is difficult to see that they would ever be removed.”

Most member states are already keen to take back control of their own borders.

Germany, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia have all scrapped passport-free travel in the last few months.

But official confirmation Brussels bureaucrats' cherished dream is dead will come as the bitterest of blows because it fatally undermines the entire concept of the European project.

The revelation comes after it emerged yesterday that other EU leaders want to kick Greece out of Schengen to save their own skins from the four million migrants headed to Europe this year.

Countries including Angela Merkel's Germany have already reimposed border controls

Countries including Belgium, Austria and Sweden want to seal the country's northern border to stop migrants from heading north, effectively trapping millions inside the impoverished Mediterranean nation.

They feel that Greek authorities have not done enough to stop migrants crossing over from Turkey, or to detain and register them before they head northwards towards Germany and Scandinavia.

But Greek interior minister Yiannis Mouzalas protested: "It is very difficult to stop small boats coming except sinking or shooting them, which is against our European values and Greek values and we will not do that."

To add insult to injury they are also plotting to trample over the Greek parliament and build a series of huge super prisons in the country, which would house more than 300,000 migrants while they wait for their asylum applications to be processed.

Athens is likely to strongly object to the plan, but its bargaining position is weak because of its ongoing reliance on other European countries to keep its economy afloat with bailout cash.

Last night, Home Secretary Theresa May welcomed the decision to scrap the free movement zone, saying: “We’re not part of Schengen, but we continue to look at ways in which we can work with other countries in the EU to strengthen our external border.”

This week the European Commission supported a plan to create a “second line of defence” for Europe’s external frontier in Macedonia, putting up huge fences and stationing border guards to cut Greece off from the rest of the continent.

Angela Merkel is in particular coming under increasing pressure to get tough on immigration as Germany reels from the consequences of mass migration.

The country has taken in more than a million migrants so far, but a series of controversies culminating in the horrific Cologne sex attacks has hardened public opinion against Mrs Merkel's controversial open door asylum policy.

If it's not about colour, why don't you guys ever mention the 2 million British migrants in Spain? Or the millions of white migrants into Australia, which totally destroyed the native culture? Or the white invasion of the Caribbean, which led to the complete extinction of the native people? Britain has invaded militarily over 100 counties, including most if not all of those where these migrants are from. We slaughtered, raped, pillaged and suppressed. The least we can do is give a few folk a home, when they are fleeing yet more wars for which white people are at the very least partially responsible. Just to finish, here's a picture of multi-culturalism not working.

Thank you, SLF. Here's another picture of disastrous multi-culturalism, my MP, a successful Muslim migrant who roasts the Tories every week in Westminster whilst white Red Tories sit about saying nothing and voting with the Blue Tories at every opportunity.

Is that the one that set up charity & is now being investigated ?.

Mind you, in the interests of balance, it's worth pointing out that in our glorious white past, we also slaughtered white people when they got in the way of our rape of other people's countries. Here's a Boer child, one of the tens of thousands who died of disease and starvation when glorious white Britain invented concentration camps in South Africa.

Police flee for their lives at Swedish migrant camp after they are surrounded by screaming mob as they try to relocate ten-year-old boy ‘who had been raped multiple times’

  • The attack allegedly happened in the town of Västerås in central Sweden
  • Staff at the refugee centre feared the 10-year-old boy was being abused
  • They failed to remove the child after the refugee would not let the child go
  • Ten police officers failed to safe the child after being attacked by the mob

Swedish police were forced to run for their lives after being attacked by a mob of asylum seekers as they tried to relocate amid allegations a 10-year-old boy had been 'raped repeatedly' at a refugee centre.

Officers entered the centre in Västerås to save the young boy who had been reportedly attacked repeatedly by asylum seekers at the centre.

Initially, staff in the centre tried to remove the boy but were stopped by the mob. Instead the staff called police for backup.

One of the officers told the Vestmanlands Läns Tidning newspaper: 'Even more people appeared behind us. I was mentally prepared to fight for my life. We were 10 police officers in a narrow corridor. And I hear someone yell that there is an emergency exit.'

The incident happened last Wednesday, before a 15-year-old asylum seeker in Sweden was accused of murdering a girl working in a refugee centre.

According to Russia Today, Police Union Director Lena Nitz said: ' Many of the problems we are now facing help to prove the point that Swedish police have long been underfunded and understaffed.' ,” Police Union Director Lena Nitz, told TT news agency.

This follows the murder of Alexandra Mezher, who was stabbed to death at a refugee centre in Molndal, near Gothenburg on Sweden's west coast.

A police spokesman did not give details about the man’s age or nationality but confirmed he had been arrested for murder.

One report suggested the killer was 15 years old.

Swedish police have demanded more resources to stem rising violence linked to the migrant crisis.

Police spokesman Thomas Fuxborg said: ‘These kinds of calls are becoming more and more common.

‘We’re dealing with more incidents like these since the arrival of so many more refugees from abroad.’

Sweden is struggling with a record influx of migrants and asylum seekers.

The attack came as National Police Commissioner Dan Eliasson requested 4,100 additional officers and support staff to help fight against terrorism, carry out migrant deportations and police asylum facilities.

According to the Swedish Migration Agency, the number of threats and violent incidents at asylum facilities more than doubled from 2014 to 2015 as Sweden witnessed a record number of migrant arrivals.

In 2014, there were 148 incidents and in 2015 that number jumped to 322.

But arson attacks targeting asylum shelters have also surged, with at least two dozen centres reduced to ashes or damaged by fire last year.

Europe continues struggle with migrant crisis

Associated Press

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia (January 26, 2016) - The German state of Bavaria is threatening Chancellor Angela Merkel's federal government with a lawsuit if it doesn't take measures to secure the German border and reduce the influx of asylum-seekers, escalating a long-running dispute over refugee policy.

Bavaria is run by the Christian Social Union, the regional sister party to Merkel's conservatives and itself part of Germany's governing coalition. But party leader and Bavarian governor Horst Seehofer has been at odds with Merkel for months over her open-door refugee policy, and has pressed increasingly loudly for a cap on the number of refugees Germany lets in.

In a letter to Merkel approved Tuesday by Bavaria's Cabinet, Seehofer set out demands including "effective" border controls. Bavaria is threatening to go to Germany's Federal Constitutional Court if Berlin doesn't satisfy the request.

Merkel argues that diplomacy is the key to resolving the crisis.

Meanwhile, Danish lawmakers voted Tuesday to let police seize valuables worth more than $1,500 from asylum-seekers to help cover their housing and food costs while their cases were being processed.

After more than three hours of debate, the minority Liberal Party government's bill was adopted in a 81-27 vote, with the support of the opposition Social Democrats and the anti-immigration Danish People's Party — Denmark's two largest parties. One lawmaker abstained and 70 others were absent.

Amendments were made, including raising the value of items the asylum-seekers can keep from 3,000 kroner ($440) to 10,000 kroner ($1,500). That brings it in line with welfare rules for Danes, who must sell assets worth more than 10,000 kroner before they can receive social benefits.

Denmark received about 20,000 asylum-seekers last year while its neighbors Germany got 1.1 million and Sweden 163,000.

"We are talking about a real exodus," said Martin Henriksen, immigration spokesman for the populist Danish People's Party. "More needs to be done: we need more border controls. We need tighter immigration rules."
