See a few suggestions the player cant agree terms with Rangers...

It would be amazing to see a talented youngster not jump at the first opportunity and think about his next move.

Maybe Tommy has asked him to give Steve Lomas a call to see what hes up to these days after jumping at the first chance?

Seems to be a growing feeling on Twitter that its fallen through. Not sure thats something we should be relying on though.

MOH IS and will remain  a Saints player unless  (a) the clubs valuation is met and (b) the payment terms are satisfactory to the club and (c) The player  wants to go.

At this time a & b  have not been achieved which makes c a muted point for now.

Also,  it goes in all walks of life. Do you sell 'stuff' to someone who is very well known to struggle with loan repayments.  We'll never get our money from Rangers as they don't have it, they are off to court yet again.

* stuff is defined as valuable items such as soap, a badge collection, tickets to the league cup semi final, a car, a young promising footballer.

I hope we aren't that desperate to deal with the crooks. We all know something dodgy is going on at Ibroke, who needs millions of debt to get through the lower leagues...  ah the joke that keeps on giving...

The same Robert Thomson, whoever he is, that previously tweeted we'd accepted £500k when apparently we haven't?

Agree, and there's not just the initial fee to consider. Presumably Saints will want a deal that includes add-ons in the event of the player getting Scotland caps or a subsequent big transfer fee. Would anyone trust "Rangers" to pay up for those things, without the need for a subsequent court battle... that is if "Rangers" in their latest incarnation even exist a year from now?

Doing business with that lot of dodgy dealers is surely best avoided. The player himself would also be well advised to stay away from joining a trophyless lower division club who may be happy to offer him a whopping salary right now, but may be unable to actually pay that whopping salary a few months from now.

I've no problem with Saints being a selling club (just like every other club in Scotland), but we're surely not in such a position of desperation to sell that we can't be cautious about who we do business with.
