Well considering he's not even currently first choice for us, nor is he playing. It's hardly shock of the century.

Not how Strachen operates -

"Central defender Hanley, who has not played since April, is preferred to Aberdeen's Mark Reynolds despite not being even on the bench for Newcastle since their promotion back to the Premier League."

And if you read the millwall forums you'll read that he is utter gash.

From my limited experience of seeing the guy in action he's come over as a bit of a bomb scare but I saw he'd won the Millwall player of the year in 15/16 so thought I'd maybe just been unlucky when seeing him.

Tommy is disappointed that Jamie MacDonald got called up in front of Zander for Scotland:

http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/news/post/preview-saints-v-hamilton

"It's a great achievement but we want five. Zander's played a huge part in that and I really feel for him not being called-up to the Scotland squad this time around.

"I thought - with the form he's showed during our run but also in his performances in other games this season - that he'd be in the squad but unfortunately he hasn't been included."

What in the name of *uck is McLeish going to learn from calling up MacDonald.?

Exactly McDonald is never going to play but neither would Zander but at least Zander might in future . For that reason it should have been Zander.

Mind you it may just as well no Saints player is associated with a Scotland team that can't even qualify from that group.

Unbelievable!!

For this selection alone, I will never step foot inside Hampden park for a Scotland game ever again.

Zander Clark is on the verge of breaking a club record for consecutive clean sheets at the age of 26...

Mindblowing ignorance from McLeish.
