Dr Christmas Jones
Great player for us. Scottish cup winner. Scored a vital goal in the quarters against Raith and shored up the defense in the final coming on as a late sub.Whatever anyone says he was part of a fantastic squad of players that won our first major trophy in over 125 years. When you look back at some of the great players to put on the royal blue top that didn't even get past the semi final stage, never mind win it. Legends every one!!!! Seannachie, Carse of Gowrie Saint, Cagerf and 3 others

Dr Christmas Jones
I'm sure there have been a few saints players over the years you could describe as wage cheats. Gary Mac wasn't one of them. His goals were worth his wages over the time he was here. Yeah he wasn't a Paul Ramsey hard tackler, a Dino showman or a Steve Maskerey wizard with the ball at his feet but he very rarely gave the ball away and did all the unnoticed stuff really well like tracking back and positioning. In the modern game keeping your shape can stop opposition players from playing their preferred game. Obviously everyone has different views on all players and I respect that.....as long as they respect mine.

Edstar101
I wasn't as hard on him as some, didn't mind him, but I remember a good few occasions where his misplaced passes put opposition players through on goal! fergiefootball

ex-montrosesaintee
Not misplaced passes, but letting balls to him run across him rather than taking a touch, and inevitably running out of play or straight to the opposition. Really frustrating.he scored some vital goals though, and always gave 100%, which was a key ingredient of that team.
