Just home from dingwall nice wee 320 mile round trip. Made all the easier by a great 3 points. Great to see kane play 90 mins and score the winner.

Respect to the county fans that do that trek every second week.

And Highland Saints. Especially our Ardnamurchan contingent. Davie is probably still not home!

Really good first half performance without troubling their keeper too much, but deservedly ahead at the break. They had us on the back foot for the first 20 minutes of the second half, and had a lot of decent balls into the box, but we stood firm, then Kano finished a nice move well, he had a good shift today, worked really hard, but no failures, although Beastie still seems to be a bit off his best form

Decent performance by St.Johnstone today  and a great 3 points earned. Apart from a 15 minute spell at the start of the second half, Saints dominated the game ( without having many clear cut chances due to plenty poor final balls) After the second one went in though, there was only going to be one winner. A weeks break now to recharge before we take on Killie at McD in two weeks time.. A great day out was had by all.. COY

Joe Gormley was supposed to be on the bench in Dingwall, but his left knee seemed to go in attempting a practice shot in the warm up.  Quick thinking by the backroom staff meant Midge (who travelled with the team) was added to the pack in time.  He did his warm up after kickoff in front of Saints fans.

No report of how bad Gormley's injury is?

Great day out took the train from Thurso as driving down the line today so 3.5 hours gloating over some county fans on the way home.

Grear to see Swanson continue his form and Kane getting a well deserved goal.  Kane seems to be getting better at handling the "dark arts" practiced by some defenders.

Cannot understand why County forced us all into a tight packed group, probably money, but made for a great atmosphere.  Particularly enjoyed the singing when Dow came on.

That explains why he was dressed so quickly and standing outside the players entrance when they let the saints cars leave the car park.

Third equal with Hearts & they play the same 3 teams as us before end of first series of games. Hopefully at least 3rd by then.

We have played more away games than most & 3 home were against top 3 so things looking good.

Was just saying yesterday that if this team finds some good consistency they can surprise a lot of people.

Maybe even us fans included :)

There was an astonishing stat on BBC Biast yesterday. Apparently Aberdeen won 12 and drew 3 out of their 15 games against the bottom 5 last year. Obviously that means they were pretty shit against the better teams. But what it points to is that if you beat the teams you are supposed to beat, you will finish very high up.

I remember a discussion on here ages ago about how Saints had never "won' the league without the Bigot Borothers in it. This could be the year. I'd be very proud to be a supporter of a team that won a league without haters.

Just watched sportscene, our second goal was sublime. I didn't appreciate it enough yesterday due to sitting behind the goal with the sun in my eyes.

A great team goal, and a big positive for Chris Kane

The ball was superb but so was the run to just peel off them and create the space. Made the finish look simple.

Kane's goal was excellent. Bit of a bumpy start then about 5 passes on the ground to go almost the length of the pitch for a great finish. Not the first time we've looked good keeping the ball on the ground of course.

Was also good to hear Steven Thompson praise Kane and say he's got a good future ahead of him. Must be encouraging for him hearing someone of Thompson's experience speaking up for him.
