Oldermoresensiblepack
Â Inspirational stuff. Edstar101
Hearts have tough fixtures coming up, and say they lose to Hibs in cup (if they beat Raith), could we see Cathro having a very short reign??
Shaky Toon Saint
Just watched the interview. Oh dear, he didn't come across well. An interview with Rod Stewart would have been less shambolic!!
mainstand
I think that was an interview that shows Cathro whole philosophy. He has been drumming it into kids for years now that winning is second to development. I wonder what he is like in the dressing room. Can't see him being a hair drier treatment type boss.

Gussie
Â I watched his post match interview on Wednesday and just read his interview today, the laddie does blether a lot off shet That covers a lot of football managers. Incidentally, the bethering must be working...Dundee are heading south...yay! Â
HOODLUM65
Cathro signs Berra. Shirt number 2020 Cathro has been busy in the transfer market since he joined, but hadn't realised the club had reached 2020.

Are they maybe just putting the date they are signed until on their backs so Cathro can keep track?

Shaky Toon Saint
I've made a bet with someone at work that if Cathro is still in his job this time next year, then I will run a 10k wearing Dundee shirt. Surely not!! HOODLUM65 and Dave Ferg
OldPoster
Talking about Cathro and number - back in the day when I was at Dunfermline coaching we played Dundee United and he wouldn't call any of the kids by name and would only refer to them as numbers!! maybe he is actually at player number 2020 he has worked with now? Crossest Man In Scotland
Surely he is finished after finishing 3rd in a league cup group. Â I sort of wanted him to do well to prove Kris Boyd and co wrong but it appears the guy has zero aptitude as a manager.
templeofsaints
Biscuits touting Tommy for the job already - he'd be a target but can't see him even thinking of going while Levein is there
Cagey
Tommy might take it if offered as he has not been quoted for many jobs so he might want to show what he could do at a big club. Levien being there would be a big obstacle.

Actually feel sorry for the guy, he is more a victim of Levien's ego than his own failings.  He was probably quite happy doing the computer analysis at Newcastle, was not aware of him applying for any managerial jobs. I feel sorry for him too. I think ultimately it's been too big a job too early for him. I suspect he has all the coaching ability needed, but not the man management..... yet. That's the kind of thing you can only learn on the job and much easier to mistakes at smaller clubs away from the spotlight. He's not great with the media and maybe not having to have done interviews etc as a player plays a part here. What money on him leaving Hearts and being a big succcess abroad in a few years. blueheaven and south inch

HOODLUM65
Â He's gone. i hope they don't want Tommy. Would have preferred if Cathro stayed. Weakens Saints chances of finishing above Hearts, as a new manager would surely do better.
Cagey
Jon Daly,Levians message boy appointed interim manager. So no change Daly taking instructions instead of Cathro . Â
