cristo Posted June 8, 2017 Report Posted June 8, 2017 Been told Eses are hoping we draw a turkish club will be there in large numbers if we do. I hope this doesn't happen. It would be a real powder keg involving two Turkish teams and we'd be dragged right into it, Quote
MySpazz Posted June 10, 2017 Report Posted June 10, 2017 Can someone call up UEFA or Saints and get some answers.... is it regionalised and what time on 19th is the draw! Dave H 1 Quote

rickardo Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 Just watched the Joe Shaughnessy interview on the os and they mention that because we're seeded that the 2nd game is at home ? Sure I read on here that it was the other way about .Can anybody confirm this or do we still no ken ? Quote
ex-montrosesaintee Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 pretty sure seeded teams play away first leg and home second leg. Norsaint 1 Quote
fazman1977 Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 What did they organise before mate? Was it live streaming of away match? They had a big "Fan Zone" in the car park, Shaw. DJ's and bands playing, BBQ, booze and general decent craic. Family friendly too. This was for the home leg. Give me a shout if you're up for it. I stay a hop skip and a jump away so you can always crash at mine if you want. Don't know if they did anything for the away leg although I imagine if there's a stream available they'll have that on the big screen. Shibbydoo 1 Quote

It is the norm for seeded teams to play away from home in the first leg, however, it is not guaranteed. There is literally no way of knowing until the draw.. Quote
Ali91 Posted June 13, 2017 Report Posted June 13, 2017 (edited) It is the norm for seeded teams to play away from home in the first leg, however, it is not guaranteed. There is literally no way of knowing until the draw.. We were away first to Rosenborg, ESES and Luzern who were all seeded. Also away first to Alashkert and Minsk when we were seeded. Pretty sure it's an even match of seeded and non seeded teams at home first. Which makes the late draw date an even bigger bawache. Edited June 13, 2017 by Ali91 Quote
