ex-montrosesaintee
I could be wrong, but I believe that 58 points is our highest ever return in the top flight (we've managed 57 twice and 56 once) Despite the ups and downs of the season, it has to go down as a massive success. What a time to be a Saints fan!
Cagey
Could be Kano for goal & good first half or Beastie for some good attacking in first half & defending in second but it has to be Danny for just being fecking brilliant.. Jenko82
Mannus for me, had to be sharp for a few shots
Templar Saint
Has to be Alan Mannus for making some fantastic saves. Spooony was getting about the park and putting in challenges or positioning so that the ball hit off him.. Tommy should tell him we are playing the Jambos every week
Wee Mental Davie
Was impressed with Kano, if only he'd shown the same form of the first half in the second. Spoony and Swanson showed sparks at times down the wing. But ultimately Mannus was quality all game and showed us what a quality keeper he still is at his age. Hopefully he'll keep that consistency going into next week and next season should he sign a new, and deserved, deal.
sleepless
Tough, but I didn't want to give it to Mannus because that might suggest we were under the cosh and we weren't. He made some classy saves but Hearts really didn't threaten much. Time and time again, when they tried to advance, we just pushed them sideways. So I'm going for a forward, and Kane's goal looked very well taken. It looked like a very tight angle.
Havana Saint
It was a fairly comfortable 1-0, but for a couple of great saves Mannus. Bring on Sevco
nickyg
Very end of season feel all round tonight, played OK first half but pretty poor second. My vote goes to Kane for a good 1st half, goal and being so unlucky not to notch a worldy
HOODLUM65
Give my vote to Danny. Feckin brilliant through ball to Kane, with pace, enabled him to steer the ball wide of the advancing keeper. Danny goes out on a high.
AthensSaint
Allan Mannus made three or four great saves tonight and was by far MOTM. Mentions also to Kano and Swansong. If we had better quality crosses in to the box, especially first half, it would have been a better score line.

chips
Add, or through the keeper's legs, as it appears on Sky TV. Ball slotted past the keepers left side
Oldmuirton
I've always thought Chris Kane was not quite good enough for this league, but last night he looked the part and seems to have added some serious pace to his game. I think I would now prefer him in the team the Cummins. cristo
akuram
Gave it to Chris Kane for great first half but Danny was class and pleased he got a standing ovation because he has been brilliant during his time here. Very good team performance and we deserved more goals. Hearts just don't play as a team that have seen each other before.
HOODLUM65
Ball slotted past the keepers left side OK. Was bleary eyed while I watched it late on TV. chips

chips
Picking up my new specs this afternoon. I thought it was a nutmeg at first, someone posted up the goal on fb, it's in slow mo and camera angle is behind the keeper. So maybe I need to pay Specsavers a visit tae ! highlandsaint
If MOTM was awarded at half time Chris Kane was a clear winner but he was starved of service second half ( no fault of his) so gone for Alan Mannus who is back at his best - seems as if having two excellent goalies is pushing them both on. cristo
