17May
Totally gutless from start to finish, midfield 4 completely immobile!! Not a chance we're getting 2 goals over there, especially with McLean unable to play. Pissed right off with that
saint sid
they are raving about Oscar Dorley on the radio, seemed to be involved in everything Trakai did. Maybe Tommy should try and sign him? sounds shit hot for an 18 yr old

RandomGuy
That's us out, there is zero chance we win by two goals over there. As always with us, it was a collective effort to be that shite. Tommy Wright started things by, once again, chucking in a youngster nowhere near ready, and, once again, changing things that were never broken. Paton and Craig our best central midfield partnership last season? Nah, we'll chuck Craig on the left and put Alston beside Paton for the first ever time. Team ripping us apart down the wings? We'll play a narrow diamond. All because he's too much of a shitehawk to play one up front at home. Was screaming out for a five man midfield yet we stuck with the ****ing diamond, which has never, ever, worked for us no matter how many times he tries it. Can't help but feel this is why TW struggles to get his move. Even when we're the better team, and the opposition are actively playing for a draw, we still refuse to take control of the match. The look of shock on the Trakai players when they got the ball in our half early on and had acres of space to run into and unmarked players to pass to was incredible. Alston and Cummins misses barely registered with me, as they literally miss every time they have a tap in. MacLean was once again trying to be everywhere instead of actually being a striker, Wotherspoon was a complete coward who only played the simplest pass from five minutes in as he ****ed up the first awkward one he tried. While Gilchrist was laughably bad.  R.B.B:- Adz

Crossest Man In Scotland
Â Iffy midfield You called it right Shaggy. Alston was dreadful, the other 3 were worse than dreadful.
Shaggy Jenkins
If I ever see paton in a saints shirt again it will be too soon. Cummings just no never ever again, Kane is second striker and its time for him to sink or swim. Wotherspoon is more than often a total shitehawk. Tommy again ****ed that up no use complaining we gave them too much space and did not close down when YOU play the 4 slowest immobile midfielders at the club as a unit! Bruno Strasser
Their pace and movement off the ball killed us. Better in second half but their foot was off the gas and still created a lot of chances. Technically better and much sharper.
Cagey
They were faster, fitter & more skillfull than us. Midfield were slow & ponderous & Midge & Scougall showed them what being a midfielder is all about.Alston improved a bit when moved wide.Craig was knackered for most of second half. Wotherspoons positioning & pace are in question. Paton is just slow in thought & action. Not sure Clark should have done better at goals. Foster never put a decent cross in all night. Think this may be a season too far for Macca.
Templar Saint
We need to get realistic on this forum. They are well into their season and their fitness showed. We lacked competitive game time. Their first goal was preventative and their second was a screamer. We scored a second that was disallowed because of over protection of goalkeepers by referee. Two others hit the post which on other nights would have gone in. Their wee number 11 was very good maybe a jewel we need!! Gilchrist, despite what others have remarked, had a good game.  We should be looking at more experienced players if we are at the blame game. Midfield did not work until Millar and Scougall came on. We are only half way in the tie and I am going there to see Saints win and progress to 2nd round.  now going to check out flights and prices to Sweden Tranmere Saintee, SaintJet, Stumpy1949 and 2 others
Havana Saint
Very,  very poor. They are a quality team, but our approach and passing was dire. They were quick, skilful and found players well. We were wooden, lethargic and predictable. Is that now three years we have been in desperate need of a striker? Great we are here competing in 1st round, but yet again a predictable and lethargic home performance sadly.

No surprise.  Have to play 5 in midfield away with Cummins sole striker. Scougall AM. Reckon we can win, but 2 goals??? Hmmmm....
Cagey
Can't believe Wright waited til the last 5 mins to bring on Kane. Kane should have been on earlier & Thomson should have been on to give us pace.Pace & Power sadly missing in our team.
saintj
Our defending was howling tonight. Both goals should have been prevented. Â Anyway, what's the point in signing quality like Scougall if he is put on the bench? Â How many years has Tommy had to sign a decent striker now?
