Scotland look as though they have found a defence. Thank feck that ex Aberdeen centre half donkey was injured. Consadine left CB looked good which I was surprised about. McTominey who I thought was gash in the first Israel game is now looking good at right CB in a back 3.

We also now have a striker but that stupid stamp puts him out of the game that matters.

No it doesn’t. The suspension applies to the Nations League, not the Euro Play-offs, so he misses the Slovakia game, not the Serbia game.

Good, was impressed by his awareness last night keeping his balance instead of going down because he saw the goal scoring opportunity.

Deserved win for Scotland dominated for 90 minutes , sure that was not a corner they equalised from. 30 mins extra time torture, 5 great penalties, watched the game on Pick T V, who was the prick o a commentator.

Fair summing up.

No failures.

Declan Gallagher will sign for EPL team for millions. Wish Tommy had got him.

Love the emotion of the players. We have years of players withdrawing. These guys won't.

Still think we should have signed Dykes after we played QoS.

What odds Scott Brown wants to come out of retirement?

Losing that goal in the last minute. Sat there in disbelief, like watching Saints every other week. After 89 mins it looked like tiredness and just a lapse in concentration after giving it their all. Serbia seem to lack ideas and Scotland beat them to everything. It was fantastic to watch. Thought Christies goal was sublime. Thought Dykes was superb. Big lad that any defender would hate to play against.

Is it not Ian Crocker who has being doing Scotland games for decades?

To be fair I thought the BBC Breakfast guy was genuinely pleased for Scotland.  Also BBC radio 4 had the one and only Stuart Cosgrave giving reaction and they too seemed pleased to be giving out a good news story.

Hope Saints watched the penalties, plenty of welly on show.

The height they put the ball was also important. On Tuesday we were far too close to the keepers diving area.

Meanwhile, understandably unnoticed in all the celebrations, our u21’s are on the verge of qualifying for their Euros. Top of the group, final game away to Greece on Tuesday, probably need a result of some kind. Have we got anyone in or near the squad?

Edit - Czech Rep now top, a win and we are group winners on head-to-head, could finish second with a draw or defeat which probably means a play-off.

Don't think we have any under 21s near our squad never mind Scotland.

Think we would need a 5_0 win to top the group.
