Much better performance than I was expecting having seen the side. Kennedy went through a power of work up front and deserved his goal.

As time went on, however, I had the feeling they would get one more chance and they took it while we put ours over the bar.

Still plenty of positives and we should win the last two games of the year.

I put my hand up to being critical of Tommy's line up before the game, as it'd been suggested it was 4-6-0. But hard to argue with the line up and tactics the way the game went.

Thought a draw would have been fair enough overall, and really disappointing to lose it late on.

We seemed to come out a lot more in the second half, which made for a more entertaining game, but I wonder if that opened us up too much and allowed Rangers to create chances. Not going to complain too much though, as we had some great openings ourselves.

Zander Clark, Scott Tanser, Murray Davidson, Liam Craig all had decent games, with no real failings. And after thinking he looked like a puppy chasing a ball just running about anywhere for the first 20 minutes, Callachan settled into a good game, and brings a lot of energy to the team. For them, Morelos is head and shoulders above everybody else in their team, with McGregor playing well other than one flap at a cross that conceded a corner.

However, Matt Kennedy was the best player on the park. Absolutely brilliant. Shame he was so shattered and had to go offtowards the end, as we lost a lot of our attacking threat.

Disappointing result, but no complaints about the effort or performance of the team.

Yeah I think most of the goals we have lost have been from crosses. There are times you think if the goalie had control of 6 yard box or 2 central defender did better we may not have lost these goals but if we cut out the crosses then we would not have lost these goals.

Noticed after the game someone had opened the gate that goes from the car park onto the new training park, the one down at the East/ Ormond Stand corner, with no stewards anywhere to be seen.  Hundreds of folk were walking across it towards the new road into town.  Not sure if there's a gate at the north end as well, as some folk were walking across from that direction.

Be a shame to get those quality grass training pitches wrecked by a bunch off weegies wandering across, for the sake of a couple of padlocks or stewards.

Really should have had a point from that. They were shocking first half and fortunate to have come away with 3 points. Would agree with the posts on crosses. Loosing too many soft goals from them. Glad to see Perths finest escort the "fans" who encroached on the pitch safely back to their seats. Would hate to see them injured on the flares they threw on the pitch.

Very good performance against a bang average Rangers side.

Kennedy was fantastic and once again I thought Kerr had a great game. Lafferty added some presence upfront for them and it unsettled us.

I actually think Tommy was too slow today with his subs. The tide was turning and I felt the game was crying out for Watt and Kennedy to get a bit of time together. Unfortunately Matty didn't last too long after Watt came on as he was absolutely spent from the power of work he did.

Really disappointed not to get the three points, let alone one.

Thought the ref had a shocker it was embarrassing how he gave every decision to sevco.

Decent performance from whole team just didn’t take our chances and Kennedy hitting top form, top top player, should have had a point but again not dealing with cross balls let’s us down.

be good to end the year with two wins and keep the didees down where they belong.

what a shower follow the tribute act, flares, party songs, trackside invasion, suppose they get a bit excited winning the league three times before Xmas!!

Surely can't get away with two flares and a pitch invasion?

Trouble is it will be Saints who get penalised. As I have said elsewhere, Saints should refuse to pay the police bill. A total dereliction of duty by Police Scotland, highlighted by a policeman holding the gate open for one of the pitch invaders to return to the stand as a steward tried to apprehend him. When questioned about the guy standing there holding the flare policeman’s response was you can’t expect us to go in there with so many of them!! What the feck are they payed to do then?

Quote of the year from Gerrard ‘we shouldn’t be struggling to beat teams at places like this’ - what an arrogant, disrespectful b****** he is.

Saints will probably be blamed for poor stewarding and checks on entry to ground.

Cannot believe stewards and police were allowing these muppets to run back into the Ormond stand rather than detain and deal with them.

Yeah that's they way it works. Saints will be told they didn't have enough security.

Police Scotland is a joke.

Both bigots bring their own stewards to away games. As if they're going to do anything. Utterly ridiculous.

It just seems like that cause they do nothing about away fans. There was a story about that once before. Celtic bring travel stewards with them to games but they are simply there to assist the home stewards. It is saints job to steward inside the stadium.

Not sour grapes or bias although it might be.

Summed up by linesman at east stand unable to say whose throw it was so the natural order of things give it to them.

Was it my imagination or did he step out 8 yards at our free kicks & 12 at theirs.

Danny just on the field & ends up with bloody nose. I don't suppose the cameras picked it up.

Agree about Kennedy but by the time HE was subbed , he had been well and truly roughed up.
