craiginasaintsstrip
He was rank for United in the Cup Final but he's a Saintee now so he'll be getting my backing for now
pete1967
As long as he gets to partner macca upfront then i m happy
THE LARK SAINT
Wonder if this rules Deekman out now?

Jenko82
Does this mean that there will be no deal for Deekman?
dave mc
More important to me does that shunt Kane out on loan, don't think he'd do any worse than Graham,Kane looks like he's much better on the deck anyway Cagey

Center Half
Does this Season Loan deal mean that He is now finished at Utd ? His current deal I think runs out in the summer.
Jamie_Beatson
Never been that impressed with him but his goal scoring record is actually better than I thought. Managed seven last season despite operating almost entirely from the bench. Wiki says 29 goals in 58 games for Raith as well which is a reasonable average. He'll obviously get my backing but I think above all this move allows us to get Kane out on loan with a view to him developing and getting plenty of game time. saintcraigieboy
Think his confidence is really low. Got in good positions and had chances, just not putting them away. Could have scored two against us in final. Just needs the big TW cuddle.
TommyTurnersTache
Brown has just contradicted himself that he won't be signing roasters to sit on the bench, this is as big a roaster as Fallon or Iwelumo, absolute waste of a wage I cheered when united brought him on in the final as I knew then they weren't gonna score
andy rhodes fancy watch
Totally underwhelmed but will give him the chance to prove me wrong. Smacks of desperation if I'm being honest. TommyTurnersTache
St Mikey
Pending medical but I'm unhappy with this as an option. United want rid of him as he's not quite at the level needed. I'll support any saints player but his two glaring misses on May 17 mean is rather play Kane or O'Halloran supporting Macca. Seems a waste of a wage when we refused to pay a tad extra in wages for Goodwillie, who technically is a far better player. THE LARK SAINT
Liked him at Raith,as i follow lower leagues fairly closely given a run i think he will be a good signing
Invernessaint
Not convinced by this. Looks like a decision about Deekman was made very quickly which makes you wonder why bring him in for a trial in the first place if we were looking at Graham. Unless TW has permission to bring him in as well?
pete1967
Why was deekman brought here on trial if the wages were a prob, surely some of the may transfer kitty was made available to bring in a permanent replacement not more bench warming loan signings
qwerty
Hope we are still chasing deekman, graham is ok but not a prolific striker, hope this allows us to give Kane a season on loan to improve like we did with May
Honest Saints Fan
Fine with this. A striker lacking confidence and needing a boost. Where have we heard of this before? His record is not as bad as most are making out. Suggestions of a better option, please. Transfer window closes very soon. The Real Saints
Shoddy signing. It reeks of panic. And if he does well, he then goes back to one of our biggest rivals with a huge confidence boost. TommyTurnersTache and Denzil
rik2304
For all we know Deekman might have been utter mince last night. Graham is a different option. Still young and has a point to prove. Also,he obviously wants to be here so he gets my support. Lappin crosses! Graham scores! COYS!
Honest Saints Fan
2006–2011 Greenock Morton 65 (10) 2008–2009 East Stirlingshire (loan) 33 (15) 2011–2013 Raith Rovers 58 (29) 2013– Dundee United 31 (6) It's not that bad a goal scoring record, considering most of his games are Utd were from the bench. I trust Tommy Wright to instil the Saints hardworking mentality in him I'll bet we have a decent Premiership player.
