RandomGuy
A usually reliable poster on P&B, who usually gets squad selections and that right, has just said he expects Swanson to sign a season long loan deal before the weekend. I hope its true, I really, really do.

dave mc
Lappins better in the middle. Not ahead of Midge, Muzz, Spoony, Brown or Caddis imo
PerthSeany
Not impressed if it's a loan deal, and why sign Liam, when we've got a one paced left mid in Lappin? Lappin is 32/33. Its always going to be a loan if a deal is done. We wont pay a fee for someone in the last year of their deal.

dave mc
So we wouldn't pay a nominal fee for someone to make him ours, and force the players hand into signing a two year deal? We need a better board then, where's Brown out?

Cagey
Scott Browns going on loan to Dunbarton till after Xmas with a view to a full season. Kane &Caddis next. Certainly doesn't seem any point in them warming the bench & getting 10 mins & game in development squad.
541ntees
I have heard from a pretty reliable source that Tommy is aiming for 2 out 1 in by the end of the month. does that inc rodgers out?
Kevin James Is On Stilts
Kane &Caddis next. Certainly doesn't seem any point in them warming the bench & getting 10 mins & game in development squad. If Caddis goes out on loan yet again then resigning him was a fantastically stupid decision. This has got to be the last chance for him to make a mark on the first team. He's either got to get an opportunity or we should just finally admit defeat and let him go. As for Kane, he's probably been the only victim of Cummins' good start to the season. Cummins took his chance and seems to have edged his way in front of Kane for the time being, although all it takes is for an injury to one of our forwards (which include a 31 and soon to be 33 year old) to let Kane back into things. I wouldn't agree with sending him down to the first division again, he's proven himself there. And although I don't think he should be starting regularly for us yet, he does need to get minutes to prove himself and hopefully net a couple of chances. His first goal probably came at the wrong time, as it didn't give him the opportunity to push on and build some momentum. Kilgour
Edstar101
I like the fact that we have a good few youngsters out on loan to lower league clubs. I reckon it's a healthy position to be in. However, questions need to be asked when some of those going out aren't as young anymore in footballing terms. It would be interesting to know how we compare with other SPFL teams in relation to the number of developing players out on loan

lang toon saintie
does that inc rodgers out? I think so as I was told this before he went on loan. also that Swanson was not the only player being looked at.

It could be that we get him on an initial plan of a season long loan, but then approach Coventry in January to discuss a permenant transfer
Kyle
Other than possibly Celtic and maybe Rangers, I don't think there's anyone even close to having what we have out on loan. I think it shows the strength of our under 20s when we have 8 out on loan and 1 released and we still beat a Hamilton, who are usually one of the better sides in the league. 541ntees

Without paying a transfer fee, there can't be too many out there that are better than Kane,Brown,Caddis,Thomson, McLaren & Comrie.

Kyle
Players out on loan Mark Hurst, Liam Gordon, George Hunter (all at Elgin) Jason Kerr (East Fife) Gareth Rodger (Ballymena United) Ally Gilchrist (Peterhead) Jordan Millar (Montrose) Apologies, it's just the 7. It may well soon be 8 though, if Brown to Raith/Queens/Dumbarton comes to fruition. StSerfSaint
