PauloPerth
I'm another in favour of keeping hold of Brad as well.if you speak to fans of other teams in Scotland/ read pie and bovril, you see that there's a good few comments along the lines of 'would like to see us get a big dominant centre half' in the window... Dundee, D. United, Ross County to name a few.compared to the 80's and 90's we don't seem anywhere near as good at producing this type of player, it's probably the weakest part of the national team just now. How many other premiership centre halves would you be happy to see Saints bring in, outwith Hearts/Celtic/ Aberdeen players?I'm not saying Brad will turn out to be the answer, but he obviously has potential, so hopefully Saints give him a decent chance before letting him go.. Papa Jack
Apparently we are trying to sign Ryan Dow from Dundee United on a pre contract. We tried to get him a few year ago just before he signed his last contract with Utd. I like him, he'd be a good addition. saintscotty

Tommy would give him a cuddle or boot his backside, whichever he felt was needed, and he'd get over his torment at United

Edstar101
what injury prone ?.As I understand it, he is not near full fitness yet. Signing him now on pre-contract could be a risk from that point of view, but there's a good player there with the potential to score more goals than he has done in the last couple of seasons

Edstar101
Is this the start of a combination of players jumping a sinking ship and the club (Utd) cutting its cloth for a season (at least) in the Championship
Dr Christmas Jones
what injury prone ?.no, runs like he's sh!t himself t.mcneil99, Cagey, Mizfit and 1 other

RandomGuy
Apparently its the same source as the one who broke the stories about Brad McKay, Shaughnessy and McFadden. So youd assume its legit. Also some talk that if he agrees a PCA then United will accept a nominal fee to let him leave in January.Have to assume someones leaving if thats the case, but we surely still have money that we offered Swanson sitting in the budget. Been in the first team squad since Levein, who played him in big games. Lost his way with Houstie (seen in all the wrong places for a while!) but JM played him regularly till he was injured. Fast, direct, good touch, tough, just needs to add goals to his game if he is gonna play through the middle.

Fast, direct, good touch, tough, just needs to add goals to his game if he is gonna play through the middle.I suspect he'll play off one of the wings. We've not really had a left winger all season (although Wotherspoon has done pretty well there, and Liam Craig is fine too). If O'Halloran leaves, he may be played on the right or may replace Wotherspoon on the left. All assuming that he signs. Not like Robert Thomson to get Saints related stuff wrong though, and I can't see him printing if he didn't think there's at least a chance he will. dunkeldneil and Dr Christmas Jones
Smarmy Arab
he's in the jumping ship category then I would understand if he did, been at United his entire career, could do with a change....but he is also a local lad...and an Arab, a leaner squad at Tannadice (which is certain next season) might be his chance to shine...especially in the 2nd division.
