mainstand
And Ciftci couldn't get into a Celtic team that had no other strikers available the other day. Doesn't mean he's not got ability, but if the manager has decided that you're not part of his plans then so be it. See also Watson, Keith. He couldn't even if they wanted to as he was not in the European list.
Kevin James Is On Stilts
He couldn't even if they wanted to as he was not in the European list. Of course, forgot about that. The point remains the same though, and if anything that shows how far out of the manager's plans he is. He could easily do a job for any of the teams in this league. Jad
If Watson does end up leaving, I think injuries and circumstance have been the end of him. He's been out most of last season and we weren't really affected by it. Clive Smith's performances probably helped convince Tommy that Comrie would be adequate back up for Foster and he'll be much cheaper. I feel a bit sorry for Watson. He's a good player but injuries have effectively ruined his career to date. Storey doesn't really fit in that Aberdeen team, in much the same way MOH doesn't fit into Rangers. Most teams don't give Aberdeen much space in behind and Storey's primary strength (for me anyway) is his pace and directness. He'll fit in much better with us, particularly away from home. We're a decent counter attacking team and having two players as quick as MOH and Storey would be great for us, especially when added to the cleverness and guile of Wotherspoon, Scougall and Maclean. I sponsored Keith last season, he really is a nice guy. Think he was unlucky with injuries especially the last one. Having said that he had been doing a lot of work himself to get fit along with physio work. Hope he gets a move soon as clearly isn't in Tommys plans and he just wants to be playing. Templar Saint
There is also a suggestion on P&B that Partick signing will be a right back.....one Keith Watson. Well that was well off the mark as they have signed a foreign defender.

Pat McGroin
Any particular one in mind Bankfoot that we can afford and who would not need a work permit or alternatively would be granted one? He would get one on appeal. His age and scoring exploits in the qualifiers would see to that. Doubt we would pay the fee though, he won't come cheap
RandomGuy
Maksimov wouldn't get one, Europa League goals count for absolutely nothing. Its not some group of guys you sit in front of and plead your case with, its a set system. He won't get a permit. We are not signing Maksimov this Summer. RandomGuy
May "close to sealing a permanent move away" from Preston according to a reliable poster on their forum (hes predicted all their dealings this Summer so far). So we can rule him out too.

Abernethy Saint
Very few are turned down, although tbf that might be because clubs know when not to even try.

Cagey
Do you think Tommy will be waiting til deadline Day to give us a bit of excitement on last day, waiting to see our new striker ,or do you think he will be rushin into it.

Pat McGroin
Sure Murder McLeod and Gordon Smith were on the panel iirc Yes. There's a default position based on caps but I'm sure the home office allows specialists in their relative field to make a decision on appeal. If you can prove a player is going to make a signing contribution to your side, you have a chance on appeal. His goals in Europe would give him a real chance. dave mc

Jiangsu Sainty
So did we not sign callum hendry? He looked pretty good! I also saw a news item saying Colin Henrdy's son had scored this weekend. Jack Hendry that scored this weekend isn't Colin's son, the Callum we signed is. RandomGuy
Just scored Have to wonder where that leaves things. Maybe get a chance from the start in the Cup during the week and that define things? Certainly can't see him joining anyone before then anyway. Cagey
Just scored On the field 5 mins & scored the clinching goal. Dons may not let us have him now. They need a striker & if they don't get Moult I think they will struggle.
