Any of the ITK on here have any names of the 2 or 3 strikers that Tommy says we are talking to

Aye .

Gavin stewart a sprightly auld vetaran , gavin Mcdonald a rotund shagging machine and derek menzies aka Henry hall.

a lethal trio who would play for the club for nothing.

ten year contracts all round ,minimum.

Naismith is genuine quality and was Hearts best player by far.

Agree with all that but he is still older than May & has missed a lot of last season due to injury. 4 year deal a bit of a gamble IMHO.

Thought Comrie looked very good for the Pars tonight.

He linked well with Ryan Dow who on that form you can see why Tommy wanted him.

Paton was his usual self.

Thinking positively, TW was quite coy about the Stevie May situation today.

Jonathan Sutherland: ''Will Stevie May be back in Perth this summer?''

TW: ''“I think he is in Perth most Saturday nights, goes for a meal and a few drinks so I would imagine he’ll be in Perth at some point tonight.''

Jonathan Sutherland: ''You know what I mean though?''

TW: ''Well, I don't.''

Jonathan Sutherland: ''Signing for St. Johnstone?''

TW: ''Well, you should have asked that in the first place. I don't know. I actually don't know. Listen, I'm just having a bit of fun with you.''

Good to see Tommy still has a sense of humour after his team got a roasting.

I noticed RandomGuy had deleted his previous post about Lawrence Shankland being pish...

Yeah, Shankland looks to be doing quite well. Dunfermline managed to sign a 30 odd goal striker from Raith.

Both scoring for fun in lower leagues but you could see from their hold up play & movement that they are decent players.

We will never know if Saints ever considered them.

Delete both accounts here and p&b as you just talk total bollocks pal, and the laugh is you hardly go to the games, fooking charlatan of the highest

I go to plenty of games?

I've genuinely never seen you post on here or there before, so clueless why you've decided to have a wee huff towards me.

Anyone else thinking that the large amounts of cash required to bring Stevie May back might be better channelled across three maybe four signings? May would have made zero difference yesterday as we are lacking quality in several areas of the team.

We have to sign May now, simply for the bounce it will give the manager, players, and fans. Such a minor thing can cause a ripple that drips confidence into the rest of the squad.

I'd be more looking at the, however harsh this sounds, especially to a legend, "dead weight" to shift out. Anderson, Swanson and McMillan could all leave, be replaced by a CM, and two strikers, and we wouldn't be worse off.
