Same old......replace the old with the young on less money. Can't knock them, only copying the "real" world..... GL Tuffey.

Can`t disagree with it. Tuffers seemed like a good guy to have around but unless Mannus got injured there was no chance of him playing. Hope he gets a good club & is getting a game every week.

Notice Tade on twitter asking for cheap accommodation in Kirkcaldy area for fortnight starting week of 20 June.

I wonder if he has a fortnight trial foxed up. Hibs start back on 20th Saints must e about then aswell and United who train up the road in St Andrews. .

For his pals.

"No it's not for me guys, I have three friends who might go on trial with Raith so it's for them."

Tonights Tullly has us interested in Scott Arfield.

Great signing if it happens

----------------------------

I've obviously not watched him much since he was up here. but he had a good time of it.

I do trust Lomas and his choice of signings though! not many of them have been bad!

them two with Cregg in there as a ball winner would be good i recon!

Arfield and brittain will be a great pairing! We shall have to wait and see

Apparently vigurs is to snub a move down south to stay in Scotland, albeit 2 leagues below his current one!

We have signed a fair few young lower league players lately. Unfortunately Queens Park and Dundee United have a good relationship and United had already signed a Queens Park player, was an easy choice for Robertson I suspect

Hopefully we'll hear news about some players re-signing soon. Starting to get a bit edgy about the whole thing, I don't know whether we're hanging fire due to this Brittain saga, or because it's possible a new manager will be coming in

The clubs don't have a good relationship at all. Queen's Park being amateurs don't get any money from these deals but clubs normally make a donation. Utd apparently refused to do this previously. It seems they are the only club to have refused. If I remember correctly they pulled some sort if trick with Ayr over Conway too.

YOUR RIGHT ..THEY [uTD] Have been getting younsters on the cheap and aren't popular amongst the lower league clubs because of this.

I know it is frustrating not knowing what is going to happen with our squad, but a look on event he BBC website shows the last Saints related news as Mannus agreeing a new contract.  Most, if not all the other SPL clubs have all sorts of stories and speculation.  I admire the fact that Saints do not do their business in public.

The same applies to twitter.  A lot of players' egos are clearly bigger than they can accommodate, and spout all sorts of pish on there, but our current squat at least (with the exception perhaps of Brittain if you count him yet) generally keep their contract/opportunities to themselves.  If I were to consider new job opportunities, especially if I had a range of options, the last thing I would want would be publicising my position and my thoughts on it.  Why should it be any different for footballers?
