Widge Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 Yeah Vigurs is a left sides, left footed player. Nothing to suggest Craig won't stay maybe the enticement of playing in the middle will help. Not that I'm bothered if he does stay or go. Quote
lang toon saintie Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 Liam`s problem is that he has no competition for his place. Quote
Jiangsu Sainty Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 Jamie Adams is out for the rest of the season. If his deal is up then it is hard to see it getting renewed Quote
Kyle Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 Jamie Adams is out for the rest of the season. If his deal is up then it is hard to see it getting renewed What a waste of a wage he's been this season. No chance he'll get an extension now if that's the case. Quote
HOODLUM65 Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 What a waste of a wage he's been this season. No chance he'll get an extension now if that's the case. His style of play suggests he takes as many knocks as he gives. Call it injury prone or whatever, but the time will be right to release him when his contract expires. Sorry Jamie. Quote

R.B.B:- Adz Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 (edited) http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/st-johnstone-star-murray-davidson-1532074 Murray leaving. Absolutely criminal that a team of Saints' relative size are about to let our most valuable player of the last 15 year's to leave for free, with no future benefits from his career. With a bit of foresight any chairman would have known that 23-25 is the prime age for a developing young footballer to make his big move. He should have been signed on a 5 year deal when we had the chance. I don't care what anyone says about risk, and financial climate and all that rubbish. The worst Murray Davidson was ever going to achieve in his career was a captain of a top six SPL side. Where is the risk? Every single scout, coach and manager who has ever come across Murray has stated he can make it all the way to the very top. And I can tell you for a fact that at least one of England's traditional 'big five' have been to see Murray and knowing the Scottish connection at Liverpool and Man Utd I wouldn't be at all surprised if they have in his younger days aswell. Although Murray had improved saints and we have been blessed with his presence, financially we have not achieved very much. No cup finals, one European match. No top three finish, no cup finals and no transfer and no future sell on/international appearance fees. At least Goodwillie at United signed one more deal out of loyalty so the club could cash in. I don't blame Murray at all, more poor foresight. Edited January 13, 2013 by R.B.B:- Adz dan loves saints 1 Quote

I would not have, He would have been silly to have done so from a financial point of view. He is now going to be in a position to sign for a club and command a favourable signing on fee. Unless you bring a kid through the ranks and sell him pre 24 year old transfer fees are virtually a thing of the past. Quote
dunblanemike Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 http://www.dailyreco...avidson-1532074 Murray leaving. I've only scanned this quickly - does it actually say that he is definitely leaving? Quote

qwerty Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 heard blackpool will pay 1 mil for murray Quote
SlickDT Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 So Blackpool a team run very tightly, that not so long ago offered Robbie Fowler just £50 a week to sign for them, are going to spend £1m on a player that is in the last six months of his contract. Saints would accept 200k in a flash let alone 1m. Quote
Al C Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 heard blackpool will pay 1 mil for murray Only if Euan McLean is part of the deal. And my information is McLean has no intention of leaving. Quote
Kyle Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 Only if Euan McLean is part of the deal. And my information is McLean has no intention of leaving. I've heard they also want to look at Sammy Yousseff to make the deal even more worth while for them. Quote
rik2304 Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 1million would be spectacular but doesnt seem likely. Blackpool dont even have a manager currently. If they have that amount to spend then surely its better for the new guy to come into post. Quote
Zamora Fan Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 I've only scanned this quickly - does it actually say that he is definitely leaving? he basically says he's not signing a new contract and wants to move to England Quote
