Just been to Perth Station 08.10 train change glasgow you then have to change again at Kilmarnock for Ayr arrive Ayr 11.30am no requirement for bus transfer. Return after 5.00pm no problem direct train Ayr to Glasgow Central. Bit of a ballache going but as normal returning.

This is the end of this Public Service Announcement

As long as all trains run to time, fine. But if you’re delayed getting to Killie and miss the connection, the next train to Ayr is not for another 2 hours or so. Also, the Kilmarnock-Ayr train does not stop at Newton-on-Ayr, the nearest station to Somerset Park.

Oh for the days before Dr Beeching when British Rail used to put on Football Specials that would take you almost to the turnstiles via side lines through folks' gardens, or so it seemed.

Any risk the game being called off because of the weather?

Doubt it will get postponed, gusts are serious concern though... might get abandoned due to wind as it strengthens.  Rarely are games postponed due to wind, but never say never.    Game on!

You never know. The rikety old stand & enclosures could be a danger due to gale force winds.

Just checked the ScotRail app again and it looks like the replacement buses between Kilwinning and Paisley Gilmour street are on for the whole day in both directions.

Will Tommy be adventurous and play to up front away from home? I would like to this but Tommy will play his usual safe away from home formation. O'Halloran doubtful for today, I would give the extra time to recover for the Motherwell game.

Clark

Ralston Kerr McCart Booth

Wright Holt McCann Craig Wotherspoon

May

If he plays to up front Holt to give way to Kane. 1v4
