Very good first half. May was ok overall, but messed up a few really good chances. That's two games we deserved to win. I think we took Middleton off as we were going to dig in and keep it at 1-0, which didn't work in the end. I sometimes feel that Wotherspoon slows towards the end of the game, and we could do with bringing him off, but Davidson never seems to take that option.

Still, two games in which we dominated and two decent points.

****it, hammered them 1-1.  I suppose its vastly better than the start of last season and if the Finnish guy can score we'll be dangerous.

Bring on Thursday though!!

Disagree we were comfortable but could not score. In honesty they had the better chances. At least 3 great saves from Zander. We did not hammer them 1v1 in the end we were holding on. We need a goal scorer. Only difference from last season, we lost these games 0v1

Strange game.

Should have won it, could have easily lost it.

Clark had a good few very good saves. Muller looks very comfortable coming forward with the ball...may be a little dodgy defending, but he'll learn.

May should know by now....if you don't shoot you don't score....really should have much better with the chance in the first half.

A draw, not exactly a surprise. Saints have become draw specialists. For the past few seasons we have got single goals from players all over the park which is good but without a regular goalscorer we will inevitably struggle. Zander cant save everything thrown at him so it may sound stupid but we cant just rely on a good team performance, you have to score more than the opposition.

Would have happily taken a point before the game, less than 72hrs after playing in the heat of Istanbul

I thought that the game in Istanbul would actually have boosted their confidence and i (wrongly) expected a decent win today. Maybe missed Kerrs leadership a bit as well as a goalscorer?

Anyway already four points behind three of our main rivals this season.

4 dropped points. Looks like the start of last season.

Agree, should have won could have lost.

Muller looked like he is decent back up. Not sure who left Watt unmarked at the goal & 5 mins later when he should have scored.

The May that used to score for us shot on sight now he needs 3 or 4 touches.

Agree with the Muller comment, good player there.

And the May thing that's just what I was saying on the way up the road. The one he did hit first time today sailed over from 10 yards.

We were ball chasing for 90 mins in 31C with a “feels like 38C”.
