I am worried that we are not going to attract the player/players that are going to change our season round. As long as Davidson stubbornly sticks with 3/5 at the back we will not improve. I think the short-term nature of the Ciftci deal suits everyone but I wouldn't be so comfortable with Hallberg only being here until the summer. We need him to have skin in the game. Intial impression is he won't have the defensive side that McCann offered but are we ever going to find that? Will add some legs though hopefully which is almost as important. Not sure if true but it reads like he wants a permanent deal rather than a loan, so fingers crossed. He's a good age, has played at a good level (including a few games for Udinese) and has 3 caps for Sweden. I got the feeling that he was a box to box midfielder. Perhaps I would have been better to have suggested we cast our net further afield when looking to recruit rather than intimating that we should go for an incompetent keeper! Goalkeeper’s can only do so much if their defenders let him down, as our own incumbent well knows. I hope you enjoyed researching the stats for Mitov.
